Brighton Coffee House and Theater

What a delightful coffee shop! Brighton Coffee House has outstanding coffee, tasty treats, and a few more substantial choices like sandwiches. You'll find service is friendly, with helpful employees who answer questions with a smile. The homey, inviting seating area with couches, as well as tables and chairs, is perfect for socializing or quietly studying. There's also an awesome patio overlooking the water, complete with the serene sound of a fountain. Add to that the outstanding location in the fabulous downtown Brighton, and you have a destination worth visiting time and again.

I LOVE local coffee shops and this was the perfect place to stop on the way home from Detroit to Grand Rapids for a latte. The espresso was good and the place had such a unique feel! Not to mention the beautiful little lake outside. If I lived in Brighton, I would spend all of my time here!!

Great service! The lattes are pure art & the staff behind the counter made us feel right at home. I highly recommend a pour over if it's your first time in. I'm bias for a good mocha latte though! Either way you can't go wrong.

This place is great!! They are always happy and eager to help! They roast their own coffee beans, so it always tastes so fresh! They remember my name and my usual order, and it's always fun to sit and chat with the owner, Amy. I would recommend this as a mandatory stop in downtown Brighton!

The lavender drinks are so good. Mostly I enjoy the staff here. The owner goes out of her way to make people feel good and have a good day. It’s so nice. I have had a couple of their sandwiches and salads too and have loved them.

I come here once or twice a week with my daughter for breakfast. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, fresh baked goods and the best cappuccinos, lattes and real macchiatos. Fully addicted to their pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, and their seasonal drinks taste as good as they look. I appreciate every crushed candy cane on the white peppermint mocha. So good.

Best cold brew I've ever had. Wife's drink was great too. If you are looking for great coffee taste as opposed to drinking milk and sugar like at most chains, this is your place. You can actually taste the coffee in the coffee drinks. Also, the cinnamon twist was to die for! Will definitely be back!

Great little coffee house. Variety of options, and a great understanding of proper coffee and other caffinated drinks. It was very bust when we went (11am) but the line moved quickly.
Cozy environment. Worth checking out!

On vacation and needed wifi for a zoom meeting. Stopped in and had cafe mocha, cinnamon twist, blueberry muffin, and a to go honey lavender latte. Bathrooms were clean, staff was friendly, plenty of seating, and nice scenery. They also had outdoor seating and seating that looked over the Mill pond.

I posted a review of this place awhile back where I was critical of a couple things, and I just want to update it to say that I have noticed effort into addressing some things I was critical about before. It does seem like the employees are more dedicated to providing quality service now. The place is still convenient for getting some work done/studying, all though I haven't been in as much with the construction downtown.
