B's Family Restaurant

A real Disappointment. Have gone to this restaurant numerous times with great experience but unfortunately not the case today. Brown lettuce on salad bar, near stale bread and poor tasting lunch meat on a hot beef. Have went from made from scratch food to sub par packaged garb. Service was shabby also with no check on food quality or refills. Sorry I went.

B's is a regular stop when we take the US-23 route home from our cottage. Great food, especially the sandwiches and wraps and above all, the chicken soup. The noodles are more like dumplings. It's the best and I could eat a gallon if they offered it! Nice up north pine wood decor and friendly staff.

Great burgers 1/2 lb burger that was in my top 2 burgers ever. Cooked to order and great fry's on the side also came with a salad. I came for out of state for vacation and ate there 3 times all was good. Will be back for more next year.

The food was tasteless but the waitress was friendly... We will give it one more shot as we do live in Au Gres (just moved here) in hopes maybe we caught them on a "bad" day and we are looking for our special little spot.

Excellent food and hospitality. It's always a stop on my trips up north.

I have traveled through Au Gres in four of the past five years and have enjoyed breakfast at B's each time. Friendly environment, efficient service, good food each time.

Good old fashioned food. Love this place. The Corned Beef Hash is amazing. The weekend breakfast buffet is awesome. They are very friendly. The burgers are gigantic. I meet my family here from Alpena. We drive from Grand Blanc and can't wait to come back to make more memories!!!

This is the best place for breakfast homemade potatoes and bacon or ham, sausage of your choice and the recipes are out of this world even the service is out of this world
Don't forget the most delicious coffee I have ever had in a State of Michigan all the way from Detroit it had to of been freshly ground beans that I could have sworen it was flown in by from out of state to the airport at MBS the flavor of that coffee was so rich fresh tasting ever as comparable to the most professional restaurants in the Detroit Metro area and I have it in my own area in the upper north of Augres Michigan I was so impressed I wanted to get a gallon to go.
but you have to get there an fast early in the morning cuz they are packed an longs waiting outside in the mornings

Good food, but just a tick overpriced in comparison to the overall quality. The homemade bread is the hallmark product.
Mary Lou is the BEST thing about this restaurant. The other staff could benefit by following Mary Lou's example of wisdom and experience.
