Great coffee!!! I prefer their iced drinks over their hot drinks, though. Also, it’s always SUPER warm inside… so if you run hot, be ware!

So excited that this place opened up where Mighty Good used to be! The interior is beautiful and makes a really lovely place to read or work. The space is cozy, but because of its smaller size, I imagine that it will fill up quickly during busier times.

The staff were very friendly, and the latte art on each drink was GORGEOUS. Unfortunately, the espresso tasted pretty sour (may have been under-extracted?), but I’m not sure if that was normal or just a one-time thing. Plus this coffee shop has also only been open for a month, so I'm sure they'll only improve from here!

Awesome little shop with delicious and strong cofffe and a few delectable baked goods standard coffee shop fare but so yummy. Tried a wake and bake latte for the hash bash event and a salted caramel macaroon both were amazing.

Very high quality coffee (the roastery clearly does an excellent job) and drinks were made well (on par with places like Roos Roast and Hyperion). The baristas were friendly and knowledgable.

Main con is that the store location is nearby some frat houses so the chance of loud... ambiance... Is quite high. Generally not a problem, but can make reading or studying hard.

My favorite thing about Vertex is their coffee flights. Sometimes, I just don't know what I want, and Vertex solves that problem for me! I can get 4 (smaller sized) drinks and have it all. The espresso is rich, smooth, and delicious. I haven't had a drink that I disliked. My favorite drink is the chai. Their pastries are also great. I was happy to see that they offer gluten free goodies so that my partner with Celiac disease could enjoy them. The staff members are always nice. I love that the outdoor seating has heat lamps when it's cold outside, especially since there's not a ton of indoor space. It's a great coffee shop to go if you want to try a bunch of different drinks or are indecisive like me. I wish more places did coffee flights.

The employees here are freaking nice and the chai tastes like a pumpkin pie. Delicious and such a great atmosphere!

Delicious coffee. Very friendly staff. Not a lot of inside seating, but a big patio when it's nice out.

Excellent staff and baristas, if you go enough they may even start to remember you.
Inside of the cafe is very clean and sleek, their focus on sustainability is very present too. In many ways I believe this provides a better experience due to the higher quqlity/sustainable items they use for service.
Thor whole bean coffees are fresh and roasted locally, and are a reasonable price for those of us who choose to grind it at home.
Their baked goods are usually local too.
