Affogato’s Ice Cream & Coffee

I have gone there a couple separate times to give it a chance and they always say they aren't serving something. We tried to order soft serve ice cream and they said they can only do hard serve because they no longer turn the machines on for the full day. Same with the coffee. Its gone way downhill since it was Get The Scoop. Disappointing.

I've really like Affogato's since it moved in. Their Ashby's ice cream is great, and their affogatos are very good too. The patio space outside is a great addition

A nice ice cream place. A lot of flavors but not a lot of options as far as various dishes. $12+ for two double scoops in waffle cones.

I would stick to getting the hard serve ice cream if you are going there. I got a flurry and the ice cream is not creamy, it is very icy and not that tasty. Bummed because it’s one of the only actual ice cream places in Allendale!

Ice cream AND specialty lattes? Yes please! Plenty of dairy free options for lactose intolerant individuals. The espresso is perfect, not burnt tasting, nice and strong, and smooth.

Employees are fast at getting orders out. Portions are HUGE!! Ice cream is amazing!! Best flavor I've had in a long time! LOVE the outdoor covered patio for outside enjoyment or the tables and barstools if you prefer to eat indoors. We will definitely be coming back!!

Oh yay, a coffee shop that will actually be open later because it’s also an ice cream shop. But wait, nope sorry, no coffee after 4:00, not even iced. But Affogato - espresso over ice cream. So you HAVE the espresso, but can’t mix it with milk and syrup? That makes no sense. And news flash, Dutch people drink coffee ALL DAY.

The ice cream is always so good. I have a loveghate feeling with the fact the flavors change daily. It's great to try the new ones but kinda sad when the one you want isn't out that day. First world problems! So many options. The workers are always great and service is quick no matter how many people are there.

Today all of the soft serve ice cream fell off the cone before we got to the car. I got back in line to get help with the mess but the employees just keep chatting and ignored me. No ice cream, huge mess and money wasted
