The pineapple fritters we're delicious πππ The place has a good atmosphere and smiling faces. All the bake goods I've tried have been delicious. I haven't had any deli food as of yet!

Dear foundry,
I enjoy your donuts. Your coffee is good as well. However, your lids do not seal the coffee in well enough and it leaks.
This problem gives me coffee hands π and potentially coffee clothes π. I do not like coffee hands and coffee clothes. Coffee hands feel icky and coffee clothes look silly. Please save me from further coffee faux pas.
Iβll be back for more donuts. Thank you.
Edit
I came back. Coffee was sealed well. Donuts still good.

Sour cream donut.....I have no words. It was so good. I got it multiple times. I don't know what magic they use to make such a hometown shop full of so many delicious types of donuts, but you can tell it's the local hangout. Everyone knows each other's names and greets you with a wave. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face anytime colleagues showed up with a box with your name on it. Don't think twice, go here, your heart and stomach will thank you.

My son and I visited the bakery for the first time today. We got there at 10:30 and discovered that we were too late for breakfast and too early for lunch--which is fair. BUT when someone working in the kitchen overheard us, they said they would be happy to make us a breakfast sandwich. So kind!! Everything was homemade from the biscuit to the eggs (both of which were excellent). I got some goodies to take home, and they, too, are outstanding! The orange/chocolate cookie was good, the apple caramel muffin was great (super moist, light, and tender), but the pineapple fritter was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I am a lover of apple fritters, so I had to try it. It wasn't that the pineapple made it great--you could have put anything in this thing and it would be great. The fritter itself was the lightest, crispiest, tenderest I've ever eaten. Sweet but not cloying.
Simply perfect. The service was outstanding from everyone there. The restaurant itself is comfortable, cheery, and spotless. And the prices were very affordable, too! This will be our new go-to spot in Albion.

The donuts. I consider myself a lover of exquisite donuts. I'm not a fan of the crescent donuts from Hinkley's. Some of the donuts from QD are pretty good. The donuts from Voodoo Donuts (the true donuts foodies out there know what I'm talking about) are good, but expensive and kinda more about presentation. But the donuts from The Foundry are uncommonly good. I'm surprised because the donuts seem to be a small portion of what they do, but they are amazing. I especially like the yeast, old fashion/sour cream, and fritters. I'm not as much of a fan of cake donuts, but I'm not talking trash about their cake donuts... just stating my donut preference. If you are a donut foodie and have not tried their donuts, this place is a must. I have had other foods at the Foundry as well, and they have all been similarly excellent.

The caster sandwich was great. I hope the donuts make it home. Everything was very good

Dissapointed, very much disappointed with the size of a cake for 18 people, they said. Overpriced as well. Not good with birthday cakes. Very simple cake. So embarrassing!

The name may be the same, but the review is from experience.
The Foundry Bakehouse and Deli is a "cut above" bakery and deli providers. Their delicious, nutricious multi-grain bread is a winner, that gave us a weekly treat during COVID-19 shutdown. Unusual amount of varied grains and seeds...The take-away meals served up like homemade...Sweets are unique and delicious. The deli offerings are fresh and well-sourced from quality vendors. Soups...oh my...an unexpected treat every day of the work week. The FBD is a regional treasure!

I recently purchased my daughter's graduation cake and I was very excited to support my hometown and buy local even if it was kinda pricey. My mom and I had gone down to look at flavors a few weeks prior, we had picked the marble cake with buttercream. We also got a few cupcakes so we could try it before hand. We thought they were kinda tasteless probably from sitting for a few days, so the week of the party we change the cake to half chocolate and half vanilla
because we thought that flavor was good. The employee my mom spoke to said ok and left a note to have it changed. We go to pick it up on Saturday the day of the party and we're told that it was never changed it was already made. Needless to say that no one ate it. It was tasteless and the frosting was clumping off.

Jenny is always super sweet and cheery! Amazing customer service overall. And the bakers absolutely kill it with the donuts. I genuinely only ever ate Dunkinβs donuts before I found this amazing local place!
