Have a great coffee and spend some time on the deck. Go across the street and check out the books. They don’t have their full menu, but some bites.

we love this place. had a great collection of reserve whole bean coffee. prices were great customer service great plenty of parking in the lot. super clean would definitely go back when we're in the Berkshires. also I really do like the labels on your bags.

We’re from MA, moved to CA, and are on a 2-way cross-country road trip to visit home on the Cape… that being said, we’ve stopped for a LOT of coffee the past month. On this trip we’ve been going OUT of the way to secure local coffee and beers and avoid chain coffee stops at all costs. We get coffee subscriptions from small batch roasters delivered to our home back West. We love coffee.
Unreservedly, this place was THE BEST stop we’ve made in 5,000 miles. We bought beans after trying our coffees, and will order for delivery at home! The service was amazing, our sweet cashier was so knowledgeable and helpful in choosing beans, and very patient as we held up the line choosing our drinks. We each got a muffin, mine the best GF banana chocolate chip muffin I’ve ever had, and my husband’s banana Nutella muffin was a delightful surprise.
If you can - even if you can’t - STOP HERE.

No. 6 Depot seems to be in the tough transitional spot of being a former local lunch spot that is trying to remake itself as a full-fledged specialty coffee shop. Unfortunately, it seems that about 50% of potential customers still go in looking for lunch and then walk out disappointed and empty-handed, as the cafe no longer serves sandwiches or anything heavier than pastries.
It also seems that the wholesale and roasting side of the business is their priority over the cafe experience (which in this Covid/post-Covid era is totally understandable).
Don’t get me wrong, the space is super lovely and pleasant, the historical building is *so cool* and the staff are very kind and friendly, but I had to withhold a star because many of the folks who work the bar don’t seem to know much about the coffee they’re serving, and the preparation is… so-so. They do not currently offer pour overs, and in the few times I have been there neither the batch brew or espresso has been really dialed in.
This shop is totally worth a visit if you’re in the area, and is still probably some of the best coffee in the Berkshires, but I am eager for the time when they find their way out of this transitional phase, and I hope that investing in some barista training and education are part of that transition plan.

Surprisingly delicious food!
Delicious 'craft' food.
We would return there anytime we're in the area.
Spacious outside dining area tastefully arranged.

This use to be one of our favorite places to stop for breakfast/lunch while road tripping west. However right now they have no online menu to confirm if more than “snacks” and coffee are being served. You also can’t get anyone to answer the phone to see how long the “only accepting food orders in person” wait will be. Huge bummer becuase they’ve been serving amazing bacon egg and cheese sandwiches for years now. Hoping things get back on track soon.

Great food and drinks for breakfast and lunch, with breakfast served a day until 4pm. There's always a line due to the popularity, but it moves quickly enough. The fresh Belgian waffle with Nutella and fruit is awesome - my preference is to add a side of plain yogurt to put on top, making it a bit healthier and the best breakfast ever! The staff are polite and efficient.

Nice stop for coffee and outdoor sculpture garden. West Stockbridge was a cool, small town.

Great choice of coffees and excellent roasting. Food was fabulous! This place will be my go-to for coffee when I'm here!
