Small local coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was very friendly. Reasonably priced, but cash only. They had a few gluten free options for pastries.

When you need coffee, you need your coffeehouse to be open. Every single day, from 6 a.m. until early evening, you can count on Mocha Mott’s to serve up a hot cuppa or a large iced. With locations in Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs, it’s never too far to stumble in.

I love the Cape Cod Bagel Co. bagels they carry at Mocha Motts, which causes me to overlook some of their faults. I ordered an open faced bagel w lox and cream cheese to go; the man put hardly any cream cheese on my bagel, one small, thin tomato slice per side, and stingy with the lox. The thing that set me off was when the man handed me my to go bagel on a piece of wax paper - arm extended, here you go. I looked at him and said, "it's to go" (u can't even eat inside anyway). He set the wax paper downon the counter and looked annoyed at me because he had to put glo es on to wrap my bagel up. Dude!! You should have had gloves on in the first place!! I said, "nevermind, just give it to me, ill do it" - I then took my 2 so-so coffees, and 2 bagels - quite the balancing act - guess a bag was out of the question!

Mocha Mott's has a very nice staff who always has a smile and their coffee is delicious and they also have lots of pastry items which I have not tried as of yet this is my father-in-law's favorite coffee shop and that says a lot certainly when we're on the island we will be back at mocha Mott's

Very good coffee as advertised. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio on a beautiful day. I am happy to support the MV locals versus the big name chains.

The place is just dirty. Mediocre coffee, and not-so-great food. I used to hold my nose & go, see nabes, etc, until they had a "NO GOOGLE GLASS!!!" nutty on me.
Black Dog is nearby (right next to the ferry!), and is WAAAY more professional & reliable. And has better bagels, which are still pretty bad.
Mott's: And this is not directed at all of you- I always liked most of the scruffy young locals who do their best there, with, apparently, little direction (You'll know to whom it is directed *ahem*), but here goes, anyway: HYGIENE. That is all, thank you.

They post a sign on the door encouraging you to read the online menu before entering (due to covid), but the menu doesn't reflect the fact that they aren't serving many of the things now...wait in a long line and told at the counter that you can't get a breakfast sandwich at a place that only serves breakfast...borderline bait and switch if you ask me.

My favorite place to grab a quick bite to eat for breakfast. Great options for bagels and baked goods.

Really need to up there game. Last time I came to the vineyard was in 1994 they were the best on the island or I didn’t know coffee. Now, not so goof
