JoMama's NY Bagels & Coffeehouse

I have only had one thing there so this is a rating of their chicken salad on a "New York bagel". I am not sure what about this bagel makes it a NY bagel. I am from NY and it was not what I expected. Their bagels are on the small side and not particularly soft. They did not have tuna salad which I thought was super weird for a bagel shop. So I got chicken salad. I asked for a bagel scooped out and toasted with chicken salad. They scooped one half of the bagel, I don't know if that's a MA thing but I expected they'd scoop out both halves so was bummed I had to take the sandwich apart to do it myself but I already had to take the sandwich apart to take off the lettuce I didn't ask for and remove the cranberries. 1/3 of the chicken salad was sweetened cranberries with a little mayo mixed in. It was inedible unless you're 6, it might be tasty, super sweet. And it cost $9 and change, maybe $9.99 I can't remember. I thought it was really expensive for a bagel and when I saw what I paid for I was really bummed.
They might make other good things but my lunch was a bummer. I don't recommend it.

What a disappointing experience. I paid $10 for a sandwich called The Godfather, which had an embarrassingly paltry amount of vegetarian ingredients. Shame on me for not reading the menu more closely and understanding that this did not include Italian cold cuts, but shame on the establishment for offering me a thin slice of tomato atop a scraggly slice of mozzarella cheese adorned with a few stray basil leaves shoved between two slices of ciabatta. I imagine the balsamic glaze must have been applied with an atomizer. My mama didn't raise no fool, but apparently JoMama's did.

Serviceable. 6 variants of better than average bagels, staff friendly and efficient, “hot mocha latte” tasted like Swiss Miss cocoa mix. Music playing upbeat, in line with shop's Jamaican theme, local artist paintings on the walls, some religious signage but nothing over the top. Shop exudes personality. Convenient, but prices higher than charged in shop for both drink and bagels compared to what was on website menu off.

Me and my wife love this place. We come here every time we are in the cape. Great food and friendly staff, fairly priced. Beats Dunkin anyday.

Jo Mama's has theeeeee beeeeest bagels on Cape. I was unaware there was one in Yarmouth until recently, usually going to the Orleans location when I was in the area. The staff was great, the space is inviting and warm. Will definitely be coming back for bagels, bagels, bagels!!!

My kids loved this place. Just enough choices. Unique sandwich choices. Great for a quick bite.

I don't know what these people are talking about the staff being rude because they're not. I've been eating at Jomama's since it opened and have filled out so many of the drinks reward stamp cards, every sandwich I've ever eaten there was great. They have the best iced tea and smoothies. In fact it's my comfort food place, I could eat there everyday and not get sick of the food and I love the staff they're some of the most efficient workers on the Cape when it comes to restaurants like this. Their bagels are soft and better than Bagel's and Beyond and Old King's.

Customer service was bad, cashier was rude. Fulfilled 2 other orders first even though we were first in line. They might of been regulars but all we got was 2 coffees. Our coffee was all messy, needed to wipe it down with napkins, cap kept coming off. Bagels were good though.

Disappointing. Wimpy bacon, egg and cheese “sandwich”. Service was poor and wait was long for a microwaved egg and a single piece of bacon.
