The Marketplace Kitchen and Cafe

Had a delightful outdoor lunch and indoor dinner recently. Wait staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Great, fresh food, good selection of ales on tap. Burgers are delicious and crispy fish taco was excellent. I recommend the mussels app. They also have good gluten free substitutions.

Very good fresh food with some creative ingredients. Great selections of unique sodas. Friendly staff.

Wife and I happened upon this cafe, and we're very glad we did. Interesting, inventive, flavorful, substantial sandwiches with friendly service. We didn't rate higher only because we had such a small sample.

High quality soups, sandwiches and desserts. At least two delicious soups available daily. Sandwiches are always creative and tasty. I've been eating here regularly for years and never been disappointed.

Excellent bakery items and coffee. We've never been for lunch but the menu looks tempting. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and in season the outdoor seating is very nice. They've clearly put in some effort to make it inviting.

The marketplace is one block east of Route 7 and there is a small sign on 7.

Great cream of potato and chive soup and nice buttermilk marinated fried chicken. My wife enjoyed her panini, as well. Food was good, service was okay but the college kid staff could have been a little more attentive. Not really engaging and more interested in talking to friends, but they were otherwise okay. Great food and we would come back.

I Go here with my fellow employees every now and then, I also understand that my parents have made this the "go to" spot for breakfast, I think the food is good, and the staff is friendly but I cannot get over the prices!!!! I spent 16 dollars for 2 bowls of scrambled eggs (looked like one egg per bowl) (does not make fried eggs here) and a single cup of coffee!!! what should have been a 9 dollar at most charge but way marked up, prices are ugly expensive but hey if you have the money to blow on overpriced food go for it! I appreciate that they throw local events but please for god sakes tone down the price of your food!!! good way to loose business. I also feel that they need music or something. The atmosphere is a bit stale. But like I said before this is not a bad resturaunt, everything seems farm to table healthy. Only bad is the price and the fact that you need to clear your own table.

One of the best deli sandwiches I have ever had! Very friendly people, following all the COVID protocols. Wish I lived closer. It is a little expensive, but the food was worth it.
