When traveling, I plan stops (one in the morning and another in the afternoon) around locally owned coffee shops. Snowy Owl is the type of place I'm always hoping to find. The coffee is excellent (most important) and the food is really good as well. I had the bacon, egg and cheese empanada and my wife had the spinach and feta empanada. Both were really good.

Worth the detour to stop by this place. Everything was so delicious and fresh. I got an iced sweetened jasmine matcha and the floral punch was perfect. Also tried the spinach feta Peruvian style empanada, which was very good as well. I appreciated that it was baked since it wasn’t greasy at all and I didn’t feel heavy afterwards. Tried a bite of my friend’s lemon lavender scone and felt the lavender was a nice compliment. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in the area.

This is the only really good coffee shop I found on our visit to the cape. Delicious coffee, very friendly service, and you can see their Roastery through glass doors. I highly recommend this place

Everything here is excellent. It's so refreshing to actually have great coffee on the Cape. The bakery items are top notch as well.

Great coffee, really good pastries and breakfast empanada.
Love sitting outside and seeing all the people come in and out.

Being completely honest here my USA coffee experiences haven't been the best. So completely blown away by Snowy Owl. The coffee and team are great and they roast their own coffee on a shiny Loring managed by a coffee roaster with over 20 years of experience.
A must visit if you're a coffee lover. Well worth the trip.

Fabulous espresso and pastries! This place apparently opened just this week, so on Tuesday I walked over for an espresso to bring home and try, and I ended up coming back five days in a row. The Cinnamon Popover is to die for, though the Spinach & Ricotta Turnover was overly mild (it would have been better with feta, as it badly needed salt). THE LWMON BREAD IS AMAZING. But oh man, the espresso is so smooth that I had it with cream and nothing more, but I also loved the dirty chai (it was unsweetened, which was a happy surprise, so when I got home I could just add some cream and one sugar and it wasn't crazy-sweet like most chai you get from coffee shops). I can't wait for my next trip to the Cape for another fix!

Not what I expected/hoped. It's clearly set up for the locals and not travelers. We ended up "settling" for our order as they had nothing we wanted but had already driven 2 hours so we compromised. You order, pay and get your order at the counter so no being waited on which is fine but the gals at the counter were pushy and grumpy. It was on our list, we tried it, but it's off our list for the future.

If you love coffee but don't want the caffeine , the dandy blend tea is delicious. I had a Dandy tea mocha. Taste is a lot like coffee.
