Tunnel City Coffee

The tunnel city at MassMoca is A small quiet coffee shop. Not to be confused with the bustling location in Williamstown. It is a great place to sit and work or read or to spark your creativity . The music level is perfect (the barista makes his own chill coffee shop music.) the vibe is very creative and people working at or visiting the museum pass through, and the muffins are fantastic (good tops, not too sweet.) for my money it’s the best coffee shop in the area.

I would just out right hate this place... However, I will never get to know tunnel city coffee because after living in North Adams since December 3, 2022 I have yet to find Tunnel City Coffee, w/ the help of google maps mind you, As This Place Does Not Have One Sign, Window Decoration or Writing On The Side Of A Building.... In an "Arts Town"; call North Adams what you will but the only art I've actually seen my five year old could've done a better job of putting together; coffee shouldn't be this hard to find!

Wonderful coffee cafe located at Mass MoCA. Opens early with local roasted coffee and yummy baked morning treats. Great to start your day or break will visiting North Adams!

Nice people, great coffee, very good ice cream from Highlawn Farm (rich, smooth, flavorful, way better than SoCo in Great Barrington).

12oz of hot chocolate with oat milk is super good! Definitely would come back here again.

The staff is always friendly and attentive. They have fantastic coffee. My personal favorite is the iced mocha, it's the best in the county. They also have these bomb chocolate chip cookies which are the perfect combination of soft and chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside.

It does what it needs to do, they do have three non-dairy milks, almond, soy, and oat. However they're not using any of the barista blends and the almond is almond breeze which is basically just opaque water. The oat non-dairy latte was pretty watery, the foam game was good though but otherwise it'll give you the caffeine you need at a reasonable price but nothing stand out.

Have the owner does follow this, I'd encourage them to get the barista blend non dairy milks- oatly, califa, etc
