We had a surprise fantastic lunch at this adorable cafe. The house salad with curried chicken salad was outstanding! My daughter love the grilled ham and cheese with apple. I highly recommend!

Great food. Technically they also have coffee. Go here for the food, because the coffee is nothing to write home about. Just your standard medium roast not very strong coffee out of a carafe. Closer to Diner coffee than cafe coffee. But the sandwiches are amazing.

I think the Lady Killigrew was once much better than it is now, I seem to remember it being a bar, where one could get drinks. Now it seems they call it a cafe, but it is hardly a cafe. They offer coffee but it may be burnt. They offer bagels and two flavors: plain and everything, but the everything bagel is severely lacking. I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese and kielbasa, and it cost $3.25. My daughter had trouble deciding and ended up getting a grilled cheese sandwich she really didn't like. There was so much cheese it kind of made her ill, and the salad that came with it was rather skimpy. My partner ordered something for herself which was inadequate. Extremely steep prices for low quality service, for mediocre food. I felt like we got jipped. On top of that, when my partner placed the order, the person who took the order said check back in 15 or 20 minutes, rather than being clear and decisive. I feel like this is one place that has gone downhill since covid, and I won't be going back or recommending it. Sad to say.

Wonderful food, for a snack or a meal, baked goods are lovely and pairs very well with their coffee. Great beer selection I've heard (don't drink much), beautiful small Cafe with very pretty views. I love going here for study sessions. Little on the expensive side but I feel it's worth it, peanut noodles are a favorite.

Great food but very expensive. Funky menu near waterfall in an Old Mill making it a nice place just to be despite finding food. Love the sandwiches and the peanut noodles are to die for

It's a tiny place but the atmosphere is great. I haven't been in the summer, but I imagine with the windows open over the river it's even better. The food is a bit expensive but really good. Having the bookstore attached is awesome too. Definitely try the maple whipped cream!

Amazing place to eat and drink, engulfed in the sound of running river nearby.

Great spot for lunch or a casual meal on the Saw Mill River. Fresh, local ingredients make for really delicious eats, particularly the peanut noodles. Great views overlooking the river. Coffee is not great, so buyer beware. Definitely worth a stop if in the area though.

I called ahead to reserve a table, when I got there they said they gave my table to someone who just walked in a few min before I got there

Awesome iced coffee, sandwiches are phenomenal. A perfect place for a Saturday sitting by the windows, reading a book and snacking. Quaint, old school, very cool! The fresh mescalin salad is outstanding either in your sandwich or with (I prefer putting it in my) sandwiches.
