A pleasant drive through the small towns of Ware, Hardwick and Gilbertville, Ma. Quaint and original little coffee house just off Rt 32A in Gilbertville. Bright clean interior. (You must check out the chandeliers!) Friendly helpful staff. A delightful and eclectic breakfast and lunch menu. Good coffee. My wife and I drove over from Ludlow and each got a cup of regular brewed coffee. Plus a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. Coffee was good, bagel was equally as good. Prices are reasonable. We will be back.

Went there today just before 3pm for a late lunch and as we sat out on the porch eating our lunch, the two girls working there began closing up. My son went in to get a chai tea to go and the lights were off. The young lady rudely informed him it was too late. I received the same unwelcoming response when I asked to use the restroom quickly before they closed. The hours of operation state they are open until 4pm - it was barely 3:45pm. I can understand the need to close early on occasion, but to be rude to patrons while doing so is unacceptable. If they knew they were going to close earlier, they could have informed us of such when we were ordering. Definitely won't be going back and I will not recommend patronizing this establishment to anyone.

Great coffee. Scones were delicious.
There appear to be local "regulars" ... always a good sign.

Needed to get out for a ride and stopped here for lunch. Excellent sandwich and coffee! Beautiful area. The Chip sandwich with turkey and bacon was delish!

Stopped here for a coffee on our way to New Salem and the two ladies working were super nice and the coffee was great! Definitely would recommend to anyone to stop for a coffee and a snack!

I stopped in with not knowing what I wanted. Asked for something chocolatey. She whipped up some magical thing I surely have no idea how to spell but it was fantabulous. They do burgers and beers during the Hardwick fair, that has been a great addition to the fair.

A favorite weekend breakfast spot, right on the historical Hardwick common. Excellent food, excellent coffee, excellent service.
