If coffee shops could be given an award, Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters won it. That's all I can say.

Delicious homemade pastries and coffee is very high quality. Wish they had more flavors available seasonally, but still nice choices. Limited seating indoor. For some reason, they only let you sit in the hallway on way to bathroom.

Best coffee shop ever! We love the Buckland breakfast sandwich with maple syrup. The coffee is ridiculous good. Service is friendly.

Got a couple of BLTs on bagels here while in town, they were really great! Also snagged a peanut butter cookie which was awesome, they had a bunch of other baked goods that looked good as well. Staff was very friendly and patient.

The breakfast sandwich and smoothies are great. Costumer service was horrible.

I bought a bag pre-ground (which I do not normally do, but the person I was visiting did not own a grinder) and there were a TON of fines, to the point where it clogged any paper filter I tried. Seriously, their grinder needs to be recalibrated or have the burrs replaced.

I also ordered a cappuccino, which was extracted fine, but their espresso roast is very dark (lacking complexity of flavor), and the barista made no attempt to texture the milk or make any latte art. There were giant bubbles and foam on the top, which I might expect from Dunkin, but it's really disappointing from a specialty coffee shop with higher prices.

Staff were polite but busy. There was only one poorly-trained barista during prime time. The quality of their beans is excellent, and the consistency of the roast is fine. I might come back for whole beans, but nothing else.

Coffee is great but we waited 15 minutes for 1 cup of pump coffee. They need more staff and maybe someone over 20!

A bit of a Saturday routine ... cappuccino and a bagel. A local classic, SFCR does the job with quality and character. Excellent!
Hey, any day is good.

I really like the Greenfield location over the Shelburne Falls location. I will say however parking at the Greenfield location is very difficult. Often you have to park in the tow-away zone at the Welden garage next door or used bicycle world's parking lot. A unique location to Greenfield considering the history of the Taekwondo shop located just down the alleyway which I would never Park in due to the history back when an auto body shop. Now as far as the coffee roasters themselves I find that they are very expensive. I would have given them five stars but when two bagels with bacon egg cheese and onion cost you $16 it hurts. It's hit or miss on how good your bagel is going to be I love the Hadley Bagel there as I just described it above. But often times it takes more than one to make it through a morning. I have a lot of friends by really love it when they take your time to make it with care instead of just throwing it together and throwing it in a bag. You can tell the Baristas there who really enjoy being there and the others who are just there for the paycheck. I do like how they have a note touch process for cashing out. They're toasted coconut iced coffee is spectacular but again very pricey for the size. Their chocolate croissants are fantastic but again overpriced. This is a place I would like to support and be a patron of five days of the week but I can only afford to do it maybe four or five times a month if I don't pay the full electric bill and put a little bit to the side. I do think that the quality is not comparable to anything else that I can think of except for down in Deerfield at the four-way stop there's a little store that makes breakfast sandwiches and they are fantastic right behind Leo's Tavern. Problem next to Greenfield Savings Bank. But again I wouldn't say it would necessarily be comparable because they don't use the same ingredients or had the same sandwich offerings. But they're much more affordable you can get to breakfast sandwiches there for $8 with the works. Literally half the cost. I tend to stick to what I know because of the price at the Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters establishment I'm not much into experimenting and trying new things because if I don't like it then I'm out a good chunk of money. Not all of us are plush with money and during the pandemic I think most of us really notice how much things cost. I know I have become more observant in conscientious of this. I've never had their hot coffee but I see a lot of people walking out with them so it must be worth the investment. I will say I've had their lemon bread and I did not care for it at all it was a very artificial lemony flavor and I am 11 fanatic all my friends and families know I love lemon stuff. I am a very good food critic when it comes to Lemon category Foods or beverages. I felt their bread was too hard to sit and it was very heavy in your stomach as well not just in your hand. I would definitely skip over that and I have not bought it again since. I do enjoy using the Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters app as I live out of town so I can order when I leave my house and by the time I get to the Greenfield location my order is usually waiting on the counter for me and I don't have to do anything but walk in and pick up my order and go. It's even more contactless than being a walk-in. For someone like me who has health issues I want to be as contactless as possible during this pandemic. Everything Bagels I have ever had especially when they're toasted on the medium to a little darker. Another positive of their app is you can customize your order with options you wouldn't really maybe know where otherwise available. I will continue to be a patron of this establishment when I could afford to. It's nice to have something in our community that tastes authentic
