Fuel Bistro/ Coffee Shop

I want to preface this review with the fact that the counter server was sweet. My review is more about the fact that I just spent more than $12 on a teeny tiny egg and bacon sandwich and a coffee- Two years ago that same sandwich on the menu came on slices of gluten free bread (not on this minuscule gluten free bun) and had garnishes of lettuce or some potatoes with it... I asked for the same gluten free sandwich today and was shocked when it came to the table, all 4” of it, with nothing on the side and with tip I spent more than $12 and had to bus my own table. I don’t know, it just doesn’t feel right. At all.

It was my 1st time in and Noone helped me. The girl with the ring in her nose looked at me, then helped someone else...I did speak up but never used Any foul language.....terrible service....

Dirty, bugs everywhere, flavorless food. So disappointed and surprised based on the other reviews. I understand restaurants being short staffed but this could have been better. Appreciated the vegetarian/vegan options.

So nice and tasty. They have amazing brunch and lots of nice unique and healthy dishes. They brew good coffees and have a wide selection of teas. Fairly priced and always clean and inviting.

First time in quite a while visiting Fuel, but just as remembered. Good coffee and nice people! Always a favorite.

It took 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches and the staff was incredibly rude to my partner and I. I asked them how much longer it would be after waiting 25 minutes and she snapped at me and told me about “how busy” it was while the very few tables that were seated were already eating and she had a few other snide remarks. Then I heard all the baristas speaking negatively about the customers, including myself! Unprofessional and food was mediocre at best. I will never ever come back here. 2 stars because the coffee tasted like coffee.

Coffee is fine, but I wouldn’t eat here again. Staff really needs an attitude adjustment (the manager especially). The menu doesn’t tell the truth about what to expect with your order also, pretty pricey. Not coming again. Just beware, okay?

Long wait even with only two customers ahead of me, AND what's worse is that the espresso tastes horrible. Acidic and nasty. Got an 8oz but it wasn't filled. Got an attitude when pointing it out. A waste of time and $5. Never again.

The coffee is not good. The staff treated me like a stranger for coming in with my kid. I love Barrington Coffee Rosters, usually their coffee is a sign that the cafe will be on point. Not here. They burned my son's steamed milk, served our pastries on napkins even though we sat and asked to have them for here, and here's the kicker, I need a bag of whole bean, but nothing they had was less than a month off roast. I feel bad panning anyone but they are total poseurs. You can do better. Maybe the real point of this place is the booze.
