Berkshire Food Co-op

Friendly staff and a decent selection of products, but I've been a member for nearly 15 years and, unlike other cooperative markets, the prices at the Berkshire Co-op Market fly in the face of the co-op concept, seemingly geared to the pocketbooks of tourists and second-homers rather than locals. Prices here are far in excess of fair, and it's not all because they don't buy in bulk.

My family has been part of the co-op for close to 40 years and from humble beginnings now is a local institution and continues to grow and expand. Offers a full range of groceries including many locally sourced items. Also has an extensive range of premade and a great sandwich counter.

Just awesome, they have a little bit of everything you can think of and more! Great place ti go fir a nice sit down lunch! If you're looking for something and you can find it, they have it here! Prices vary, some pricey, some not so. All depends on what you want!

Great selections and decent atmosphere but prices are a bit high making it hard for life-long locals to afford to shop here regularly; locals should have more access to healthy affordable food.

Great stuff. Some things can get a little expensive, but a lot of it - the local dairy, bulk section, veggie meats - are surprisingly well priced, and everything's great quality. Good staff & cafe, too.

Absolutely amazing place to shop.. employees are awesome and very helpful!! Food is always incredible!!! All around great place.. can't wait for the new building to be done!!!

I always loved this place until today a racist manager at the register was trying to "educate" me on how I should eat my food and drink my water as if he didn't think I am equal to any other customers there because I am not white. Pathetic bigotry. It's very unprofessional of you to give unsolicited advice to a paying customer.
