I love me a good Chippi! Definitely worth the drive from Providence!

My son and I loved this place! This was our first time here. We live 45 min away but were in the area for something else, so stopped by to try it out. We are vegetarian and this place is definitely vegetarian/vegan friendly! We both got a breakfast sandwich. My son got a frozen drink and I got the tea flavor of the day, which was blueberry hibiscus. Yummy!

Mirasol's Cafe is more than a cafe, known for their fine Latin American coffees and tasty Chippi trademarked brew. MIrasol's has the best quesadillas and specialty Latin themed sandwiches around. They also serve Latin themed breakfasts and lunches that can be eaten at tables inside or out. The lines are long, but the wait is short. Customers are students, businesspeople on breaks, to retirees. The place is friendly and efficient and the food is the best. Their vegetarian corn and bean quesadillas are delicious and are served with avacado and soured cream. They serve triple brewed yerbe mate, which is a healthy hot Argentinean tea. They bake their own cookies too. This is a local family run business not a corporate franchise and should be supported and it is. Visitors love Mirasol's Cafe.

Mirasol’s was my favorite place. I use to go there 3 times a day when I worked nearby 4yrs ago. I still like to go there almost every day. Though ever since they’ve sold/franchised it, the phenomenal Chippi recipe has dwindled to the point I get smoothies now. The “new” chippi is just disgusting to me that I’ll only manage to have it if they have special flavors to put in the Chippi beverage. Personally, I miss the authentic taste the original owner use to make the Chippis. It’s like it was a family recipe that just didn’t get passed down correctly or the new owner doesn’t care to pay attention to ingredients and leaves some out to profit more. I will also say the staff is amazing they know my usual order daily. Unfortunately I will be taking most of my business elsewhere until they resolve the Chippi issue/recipe.

What happened to their huevos ranchero? Either they completely changed the recipe (we ordered 4) or it was just a bad day. There's less egg and cheese, the black bean salsa is no longer salsa and is missing the beans (it is now just tomatoes and red onions), the wrap is more fluffy and light. To top it all off, they increased the price by $2. What happened??? Also their steak and cheese selections are way overpriced, $11 for less than 1/2 the food you can find at other places. Not going here again. I guess everything must go downhill, including this place.
Edit: yup they did change the recipe, based on the listing on their website.

Very cool place! Got a unique drink- a Chippi! I was not at all clear as to what it was and the barista helped explain it and gave me a sample to try. It's a kind of coffee drink(I got cold with no flavor). The base really tastes like coffee ice cream! Good amount of caffiene. It's a proprietary recipe so they can't tell you any details but I would say the amount of caffiene is similar to anything like a double shot espresso drink. I don't think it is espresso based but that's just the best comparison I have for just the amount of caffiene. It was truly amazing though and I wish I could have it more often!
They also gave very good prices and had day old bags with about three items on average for $5
Definitely stop here if you get the chance!

All but one time, these guys have been on-point. (The one time they weren't, it was because the owner made me a very watery tasting latte. I mentioned it to him, and he got exasperated...but then made me a new, watery latte. Sigh.)
The food is fresh and great, though I pretty much order the same thing every time. (The Mexican breakfast sandwich - I forget the name - with eggs, cheese, black beans, etc.)
I adopted a cat a few weeks ago and brought it to a vet down the street from Marisol's. I asked if Marisol's could make my cat a cattucino for being such a good boy at the vet and, they googled it and made me one. (Mocha loved it!) 🙂❤️

I'm addicted to chippi, have been for many years. Their sandwiches and quesadillas are delicious, highly recommend their cookies as well. If there was only slightly more parking, this place would be perfect.

I absolutely love Mirasols Cafe! Their food is fresh and made to order, not much of a wait.. and their infamous Chippie Ice Coffee is to die for!!! If you haven’t had one, you GOTTA !!!

Probably the worst sandwich I've ever been served. It was $8 for a sandwich that was 3 inches long and 2 inches wide. There was no dressing or toppings. The place is outrageously priced. The Chippi was so weak I had to go get an actual caffeinated drink. Guess it is just coffee milk after all. I don't drink a surplus of coffee either so it was sad for a non coffee drinker to need another caffeine drink after having their so called super charged beverage.
