This place is SO COOL! It takes the vibe Starbucks was going for, but executes it’s SO much better, phenomenally. The decor is fascinating & the coffee is delicious. I would go out of my way to get coffee here. Pastries looked great too, will try next time

I love this place. The atmosphere is awesome, the coffee is awesome and the pastries are awesome too. The Boston cream croissant was really tasty and filling (it was so heavy :D ), the chocolate croissant was buttery and light. The staff is amazing too, they really friendly.

Love this place!! The design of the coffee shop was off the wall, service and food was excellent, and very courteous. At 3pm the lounge bar opens up and you can indulge yourself with all types of coffee ( with spirits added of course ). Or just straight up spirits ☺️ must stop by see and taste for yourself... Guaranteed not to be disappointed.

Great cafe to lounge around, catch up with a friend, or get work done. The croissants are fresh and go perfectly with coffee. They also have a bar inside the café for alcohol beverages. The overall atmosphere is pleasant and you will find yourself wanting so stay a while. Do yourself a favorite and get the avocado toast with the ranchero sauce, it’s amazing!

Super cute. We came a little late in the afternoon and to my surprise they still had plenty of specialty croissants left. I enjoyed my croissant, they are very sweet! So if you're not into a lot of sugar I wouldn't recommend the fancy flavors. Coffee was perfect! And they have a bar !

I came to Tradesman yesterday for brunch with my husband and loved it so much I came again today for brunch with a friend I hadn’t seen in 2 years!
The food, service, and ambiance were phenomenal again! Every single person there was so friendly, welcoming, and sat us down immediately.
I had the egg whites and vegetable frittata again because it is out of this world! 🤤 my friend had the avocado toast and said it was the most amazing avocado toast she’s had! For drinks, I had a latte again (cannot recommend it enough! Best latte EVER!) and my friend had a cappuccino, which she also praised. Then we had mimosas and the champagne to orange juice ratio was PERFECT!
I also got some mini donuts to go to bring to my niece and cousin. They were so excited and loved them so much they ate them immediately! Don’t mind the picture, the girls had already gone through the donuts like crazy 😂
I will certainly keep coming back! My friend lives in Charlestown and said she will definitely come back and was impressed with the quality of the food and service. If you haven’t already, you need to check this place out!

This place was super cool. I loved the atmosphere, the food, and the prices were very reasonable. I was able to get some work done and it was a very nice place to chill out in Boston. They have a wealth of baked goods and coffee options. I highly recommend

Very good place for coffee and espresso drinks. Food includes breakfast sandwiches, pastries and avocado toast. The avocado toast was fresh and flavorful.
The physical space is spacious and inviting. This is a good place to go to get work done or meet a friend to catch up.
Do not go here if you want to pick your coffee beans for pour over or aeropress. They serve large batch brew only that is solid, but still batch brewed.

It's a nice place with nice decor. The red velvet croissant is good. It does have a creme filling. The black coffee is so-so, it was darker and had some more flavor than other blends. I imagine it might be hard to get a seat during peak hours.

As a Charlestown resident I can't believe it took me this long to visit this place. First of all, access is extremely easy by car or foot with the bridge as well as garage parking (free for first 3 hours). The ambiance in the restaurant is unmatched. From the mechanical ceiling fans to the retro record player to the newspaper style drink menu, everything here was worked down to the fine details and it shows. The atmosphere was incredible with the brick oven burning behind the chic & stocked bar. With such an aesthetic it is hard not to expect the food to be just as excellent, and we were not disappointed.
From the Poke Nachos which were perfectly light and delicious, to the French Dip sandwich which melted in your mouth, everything we ordered was something to rave about. To top it off, the espresso martinis are hands down the best I have had in Boston within the last 6 years.
Service makes all the difference in places like this and Alberto was top notch. From ensuring that our glasses were never empty to having a personality so great we would have had him sit down with us if we could, we were lucky to have such attentive and polite staff throughout the meal. Would & will be recommending this to all friends and visitors of not only Charlestown, but Boston as a whole.
