I have been here several times. All bands have been great, whether jazz or country or rock. Great food. Good beer selection. Fun karaoke too.

My new favorite coffee shop. Just enough space, lively but a great place to read or do work. Great coffee, food, desserts, and a selection of wine and beer.

I’ve been here twice within the past month and sadly the drinks lack flavor. I’ve ordered a hot chocolate that tasted like steamed milk with a dash of cocoa powered and a chai tai that tasted like steamed milk with a hint of cinnamon. Giving 2 stars for the female cashier’s kindness only.

Rogue employees taking photos of minority patrons for attention… well you certainly got it! Know where to avoid when visiting the city. REAL LBGTQ FRIENDLY

Not the cleanest place. I reccomend getting a paper disposal containers and not use anything from the shop. They do seem good at being green, however.

I love this place! Its so close and walking distance for me. It’s open early and closes late! Great coffee, sandwiches and beer. Staff is so friendly and I love the space.

I've been living in Rozzie for 12 years, and have been yearning for a Square Root for all 12 of them! It is so wonderful to have a place with big windows, good coffee, and a great atmosphere to hang out and get some work done in. I notice that friends and co-workers from W Roxbury are coming too, so I guess the secret is out!

SO glad that they’re returning to(wards) normal after Covid cutbacks. Interesting beers. Food options are expanding (7/2021)
