Blank Street Coffee
Review of Blank Street Coffee
Blank Street Coffee is a charming coffee shop, cafe, and pastry shop located at 97 Charles St in Boston, Massachusetts. With its central location and cozy atmosphere, it's the perfect spot to grab a cup of joe or a delicious pastry.
The hours of operation are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM every day of the week, making it a convenient place to start your day or take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Upon entering Blank Street Coffee, you'll be greeted by friendly staff who are ready to assist you in choosing the perfect beverage or pastry. The menu offers a variety of options, including chai lattes, iced pistachios, and hot pistachio lattes. Customers have praised the hot pistachio latte, describing it as "to die for" and "good." However, some have mentioned that the iced pistachio latte had a hint of pistachio but didn't meet their expectations.
The coffee at Blank Street Coffee is said to be good, and the service is fast. The small space provides a cozy and intimate setting, perfect for a quick stop or catching up with friends. However, it's worth noting that there is limited seating, with only 6-8 high chairs facing the window.
While the majority of customers have had positive experiences at Blank Street Coffee, there have been a few negative incidents reported. One customer mentioned the lack of public restrooms and Wi-Fi, which posed a problem for those looking to work. Another customer had an unfortunate encounter with an eccentric man and his dog, which resulted in a messy situation. It's important to note that accidents happen, but the customer felt that the owner should have taken responsibility and addressed the issue.
Overall, Blank Street Coffee offers reasonably priced beverages and pastries in a cozy setting. It's a great place to grab a cup of joe if you're in Beacon Hill or looking for a quick stop in Boston.

Convenient spot for good cold brews and pastries.
I’ve been coming to this new location occasionally for pastries and coffee before work. The place doesn’t get very crowded in the morning, and I’m usually able to grab one of the six seats to enjoy my breakfast. Coffee has always been good and the barista was very friendly. Although their croissants aren’t as good as the ones from Tattte across the street, they are still great when heated.

This place is located centrally but you could almost walk by it unless you were looking for something to drink like we were. It is a quaint yet funky little place. The place was limited seating about 6-8 high chairs facing the window/outside world. I was greeted at the till/order taking by someone who had a kickass smile and she instantly won me over with her demeanor. Suggested a few options. And we choose chai latte and an iced pistachio. The iced pistachio was what I ordered with a hint of pistachio much less than what I expected. Th taste was good but it's not the best i have had. given that it got rushy i never got a chance to provide feedback. However, i would recommend the owners to check out shotted in Tyson, Virginia because I had my first iced pistachio latte and i became an instant fan.

For a coffee shop, I was surprised there wasn't a public restroom and no WI-FI. Discovered this after I ordered coffee and food. Since I was there to work that was problematic. I ended up hot spotting it so I could work on my project. However, they really should train staff to address difficult patrons or ban certain people if they are constantly causing issues. I say this since an eccentric man came in with his dog. The dog was not on a proper collar, it was gauze clipped to a leash. I noticed since it was crying and I saw it slip out. Which I was like 'sir, your dog' a few times until he noticed. This individual then sat next to me and his dog continued to cry and later find out it had peed on my new winter coat. Accidents happen and I don't blame the dog since he was crying / trying to tell his owner to take him out for a walk. I do blame the the owner and especially Blank Street Coffee since it should not have allowed a dog into the establishment in the first place. The owner barely apologized. I cleaned my coat the best I could. The owner continued to ignore the dog while he ate his sandwich and chatted with the barista. The barista was very nice though...maybe too nice which lead to this situation. The dog then proceeded to eat crumbs off the floor while his owner made conversation with everyone versus caring for his dog. After he left, I overheard a number of staff and patrons complaining about him. So clearly this is a pattern that should be addressed.

Shockingly affordable given the quality of the service. My server, Laura, was amazing. Definitely a great place to grab a cup of joe if you're in Beacon Hill.
