This place has been “open” for a couple months now but today was the first day it was actually open and I could actually get in there. All I’ve wanted for freaking forever now is a frozen mocha from Honeydew but apparently, even after all this time, they “can’t do frozen,” so I ended up getting it iced but it didn’t taste the same at all and definitely wasn’t worth the wait. I guess I’ll wait until the next time I’m driving to the Cape and I’ll stop off in Norton or Hyannis or something instead.
The state of the men's washroom here was appalling. I went to use the only stall and the toilet was completely clogged and the contents including chunks were spilling over the sides and onto the floor around it. I was completely disgusted and appalled that the management would let the bathrooms be in this state. It's like the bathrooms hadn't been checked for at least a few days. Also the hand dryers didn't dry my hands completely so that just made my day.
Stopped by at 5:20 pm on a Friday. They throw all their donuts in the trash at 5. Who does that? Apparently they do. It's a rest stop location on I-90 west bound. They should have fresh donuts round the clock. I had a maple donut there once, and it was fantastic. Very disappointed that there were no donuts, it was closing, and they waste their inventory. A sad day for sugar addicts. Indeed.
I was looking forward to my Red Bull iced tea on my way to Albany in a Tuesday night. I was driving from ct so you can imagine my excitement when I pulled into the rest stop two hours into my trip. I was famished and thirsty, eagerly awaiting a donut and Red Bull iced tea to perk me up for the rest of the ride. I walk in and much to my dismay there was a hand written (and the handwriting was not neat) that said “open at 6am”. I’m not saying I had tears in my eyes but you can imagine my disappointment. I mean, who closes a donut shop on the mass pike before 6pm? And a honey dew which they don’t have in ct, so imagine all the Connecticuticans who have come and gone with the same disappointment I felt tonight. Shame honey dew, shame.
One person working two counters. No one at either register for 15+ minutes! Literally there were 8 people waiting and calling for assistance to place Orders. The one staff member seemed under the influence, rude and not a single care for the customers and complete lack of service. We left after waiting so long and with empty stomachs.
At these overpriced turnpike stops, travellers want to be served so they can get back on the road asap. It is really such a slap in the face that these Travel Plazas are the only convenient stops on the Mass Pike, are overpriced, extremely long waits and on top of it to be treated like an inconvenience. It's just unacceptable.
Donuts awful. Coffee taste like instant/ gas station. The woman made me butter my own bagel. She toasted it, put it in a bag with butter and a knife for me to do it. Really?

Coffee was good but only had a few donuts for food. No bagels or pastries.

We stopped and got half a dozen donuts around 11 am. Every donut is dry and has a taste of smoke. This were not fresh donuts.

Inside the service plaza so it didn't appear to have the variety a real store would but what we got hit the spot anyways.

Good place to go if there is not a Dunkin donuts nearby
