The Blue Crab

Cool little coffee shop in Saint Michael. Coffee very good (both the regular and the decaf). My wife avoids dairy products and The Blue Crab had an array of alternatives. They made her a excellent Hot Chocolate with Almond milk. Reasonable food menu,especially for a place this size. Funky vibe about the place. Nice stop to take a pause in the day and have a snack and a beverage. Definitely recommend!!

We have always loved the Blue Crab and have endeavored to support the restaurant during the Covid era. However they obviously don’t have the take out business worked out at this time. We have gone here for breakfast 3 times in recent weeks ordering online before leaving home - and the pick up delays are longer every time. Today, although it said on the website that we could pick up in 20 minutes - it was actually one hour before we got our food!! However the food is good when it comes.

Absolutely the best breakfast sammy around. Their multigrain bread is so fresh and delicious. The vibes are always 11/10 and the staff is delightful. 🙏

Don’t waste your time and money here.

We came at a very busy time, 10:30am, on a Sunday. We were prepared to wait, but the service was beyond unacceptable. We wanted drinks to go, and it took 45 minutes from walking in the door.

There was one barista doing drinks for everyone in the cafe. Both of our drinks were done incorrectly, and mine had regular milk instead of almond milk... I knew by the stomach ache afterwards.

They need to streamline their process... have people take numbers for tables! What a mess. No social distancing for COVID in the line either. Would not recommend.

Great coffee,staff is extremely friendly. Best spot in St. Michaels for a cup of coffee. The new decor is very classy but they need to reinstall the bike rack!

Good coffee and relaxing atmosphere. Couches and chairs to relax and a nice assortment me t of bakery products. Will definitely be back while in St Michael’s.

Worked with Blue Crab to cater breakfast the morning of my wedding in St. Michaels, Maryland. They were kind and extremely easy to work with on all fronts, including selecting (and even making last-minute changes to) menu items, arranging delivery, and payment. All food arrived seamlessly and on time - and they coordinated with the venue (not me!) to pick up carafes afterward. I didn't have anything to worry about; my only job was to enjoy the deliciousness! Thank you!

The scone was horrible tasteless dry biscuits. We were staying there are coffee and hot chocolate were placed in paper cups never often a cup. Staff leaning on counters as if they needed the up to be helped up

It's cool new place. The new owners have created great vibe with real high end coffee and menu. The brunch was great. Biscuits with gravy and eggs super!
