Casselman Bakery and Café

We got the haystacks for breakfast and they were AMAZING! They even threw in a complimentary fry pie due to a little longer wait but we didn’t mind the wait because the food was worth it! The pumpkin bread was wonderful!

Just opened and food is great. Sandwiches are huge on their own homemade bread. Very nice fresh salad bar. Home made soups and crab soup is awesome. Oh don’t forget all the homemade breads and desserts. I’m so happy Oakland finally had something this great.

I love the baked goods. The best pumpkin bread and apple butter around. However, the restaurant is not as good as it used to be. I order a bowl of chicken noodle soup and it was basically all broth. I requested a new bowl from the waitress. I also asked about getting a slice of bread or roll and was told I would have to buy a loaf!? All restaurants I eat at including Penn Alps give complimentary bread/rolls. It is ridiculous that you have to buy a whole loaf of bread to just have a slice to go with your soup. The food and service is much better at Penn Alps.

Great bakery. Plenty of options. We selected Peanut butter blossoms and cinnamon rolls, definitely homemade on the premises. They were delicious.

So when you have a restaurant that says, closes at 3pm and you get there at 2pm after driving 80 miles to get there and they say, the kitchen closed at 2pm ! This place is a Joke, don't waste your time! We'll never go back! If you're in the Deep Creek area go to Uno Pizza, Ledo Pizza, Black Bear or Brenda's Pizza, all great places to eat!!

They have such amazing food here!! I love their wraps, philly cheesesteak hoagies, their Maryland crab soup, chicken salad, baked goods, and their yogurt parfaits are to die for!!

The food was great here! Our waitress was delightful! The soup was so good, the baked goods were fresh too!

This was a great place for catching our breakfast. Great food at good prices.

Fantastic baked goods especially their donuts and fry pies. Lots of other foods as well. Suggest visiting next time you are at DCL. You won't be disappointed.
