What a gem 💎 of a coffeehouse. I just Googled (go figure) ‘coffee shop’ while driving from DC to PA and saw this place - honestly just liked the name…and obviously the reviews helped.
Such a great vibe here when you walk in. People were sitting around enjoying their bean buzz, calming jazz was playing and everyone was very friendly. I had no idea this was here.
I had the cold brew, which was very robust and flavorful and a blueberry muffin, which was delicious (I devoured it before I could get a picture but they had a great selection of other bread 🥖 and pastries 🥮 as seen in the photo).
Charming little shop that I will definitely be returning to on my travels.

I needed to pick up some local coffee to send as a Christmas gift and this place hit the spot as They were right on my way back home. Plus, They weren’t overly busy! I found the coffee I needed right away. As I waited in line at the register, I checked out their absolutely beautiful baked goods. Those definitely look worth trying! The woman who rang up my order was super friendly and also had some awesome style!
This coffee house is spacious and even though it was busy it didn’t feel crowded at all! I would definitely recommend this place!

Ragamuffins is everything you want a coffee shop to be and more.
The staff is amazing, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, and the coffee is just absolutely amazing. I thought I liked coffee before, but I have a whole new appreciation and love for it now. I may not go every week, but I have definitely been here many times. Every time I go I always get a beautiful piece of art on top of and amazing cup of coffee.
The mocha, cappuccino, latte, spanish latte, and café miel are all just absolutely amazing! I have a sweet tooth so adding honey to my coffee makes my tummy happy and compliments the coffee well. They also have several different options of milk, my husband always gets the oat milk... he forgets to order with oat milk, but the Barista remembers he gets oat milk EVERY time!
If coffee is not your favorite they have I think 6-8 teas to try from as well. I have tried two of them so far, they are so unique, full of flavor, and delicious! My favorite so far is the peppermint tea.
Above all this, Ragamuffins has an amazing vision statement, "Ragamuffins loves and serves the community by cultivating a place to connect around handcrafted coffee." I have never walked into a business that actively lives out their whole purpose of existing as a business. The coffee house is owned by a local church, that actually meets at Ragamuffins every morning. I attended this church once... and have not stopped going. The church is so dedicated to reaching their community that they have given up a big church building to be right in the middle of Laurel main street just to connect with people. The Ragamuffins culture is very loving, supportive, and all about being there for you. There is just something so special, unique and raw about Ragamuffins that it is easy to call this coffee house a place of true friendship.

I love Ragamuffins coffee! Every time I go I am impressed by the quality of the coffee and the friendliness of the staff. The cafe miel is delicious and always prepared to perfection. I also love that this is a ministry of a local church. Keep up the great work!

Recently found out about this cafe which is crazy because they have been open 5 years! I have quickly become a regular. They are knowledgeable and consistently serve quality coffee. This isn't a watered-down latte or milk with a dash of drip coffee/espresso. I am always on the hunt for a great shop. This is really the only one I have found!
I have worked my way through most of their menu. Everything is priced fairly. I love the cafe miel, Spainish latte (I ask for them to be less sweet than normal). Recently tried their pumpkin late (ordered it less sweet as well) and was pleasantly suprised since I am not a flavored coffee drinker. My fiance loves the mocha. You can't go wrong. They are fast with your order and have online ordering.
They offer $2 lattes once a month. They have baked goods which are outsourced. The treats are delicious but limited. Get their before 11am if you want a taste.
Recently took their home barista class which was a bang for your $. So much information, a latte was included if you wanted to try your hand at making one.

As someone who goes to coffee shops as if it were a sport, this place has truly impressed me!
To start off the atmosphere is delightful, with a cozy seating area and great mood lighting. The person who took my order was very patient and answered all of my questions confidently with educated answers. I could tell they knew what they were talking about, so it would be a great place for someone new to coffee to come and ask questions. They also had a variety of tea options that caught my eye as well.
I ended up getting the spanish latte, and the mug it came in was very cute! The coffee itself was extremely smooth. I was worried that the heavy cream would end up being too sweet but it actually complimented the espresso perfectly to create an extremely smooth & subtly sweet drink. The flavor was delicious, and the barista made it look so nice :)
Overall, I loved coming here and am excited to try their pour over next time I come!

I'm pretty sure the folks that work there know I don't get out much, because I got very excited about the coffee art they did on my cortado! Truly an elevated coffee shop experience on Main Street! They serve La Colombe, and it's excellent. I got an affogato and it was also excellent. The shop is modern, sleek, and elegant with wood floors and a marble and steel coffee bar. The employees are AWESOME; everyone was really kind to me. It's obviously a popular meeting space, which I honestly wasn't expecting in such an unassuming location--lots of "Well, it was so nice to meet you" being exchanged and people working on laptops. It wasn't as quiet and empty as I thought it would be, which is awesome! An unexpectedly hip spot.

Loved it here! I tried an Ice Spanish Latte. Pretty yummy :D. They don't have flavors to add to beverages (ie: vanilla, caramel, etc). My sister tried the Ice Cafe Miel (A latte sweetened with honey and cinnamon) both were great. The star for me was the ham & cheese croissant with I guess Italian seasoning on the top *Pastry chef kiss* and my sister had the chocolate croissant. Such a cute place to sit inside and sip some cafe cute bevs.

I lived in laurel for almost 2 years and never heard or knew about ragamuffin. I’d see it pop up on my searches for coffee/breakfast but I steered clear because I didn’t see that many food options. I’m definitely a breakfast sandwich/omelette and home fries type of morning person. BIG MISTAKE! Not only is this place 5 minutes from my house but it’s also absolutely delicious. I had to hide how much I was going from my bf who was trying to budget our spending!! This became my new Starbucks. I’d jump on their website and order ahead on my busy mornings or I’d swing by after my yoga class at the studio down the street and hang out inside to enjoy the ambiance. Don’t get me started on their croissants because I never thought I’d choose an almost over a chocolate but here we are. As for my drink of choice, café miel with soy/oat milk is my go to. I recommend this place to all of my clients after their service and I hope I’m doing my part in supporting a local business.

I got a Spanish latte with almond milk and a croissant called Kouign Amann. It was delicious. The staff were very polite.
