Vigilante Coffee

The best. Hands down. The only company I buy coffee from in the DMV. Used to get my beans from a shop up in Brooklyn, NY then I tried Vigilante. Started a subscription that day. They send two unique and freshly roasted bags a month and they’re always so different from the next. Could not recommend a DC area coffee shop more!

Been a customer since day 1 literally. 9 years later and this shop is still magic. If Josue is working, order a PB (peanut butter) Açaí Bowl (add Nutella if you want to make it even better) if you are eating in and be prepared for a work of delicious art. It’s way better if you get one in a bowl instead of “to go”. Today I forgot to order an espresso and asked if I could have one brought to the table and I would place the order online. The staff member said not to worry about it and brought one over within seconds on the house. It’s a special shop with special staff…oh and the coffee is bomb dot com🤘

This is one of my favorite places. The coffee and food are great. But most of all, I love the atmosphere. The garage/warehouse feel is charming, the baristas are pleasant and seem like they're having a good time, and for holidays, they put up a ton of decorations. Plus, they allow dogs :) I come here weekly.

I visited both branch and both are great , this one has more indoor & outdoor seating . The chai latte is the best one in the menu 👍🏻

For the area, it doesn't get any better for a cup of coffee than this!

I know I confused the barista at first, but they have great quality beans with the best tasting coffee in this area. Don't go anywhere else if you are a coffee lover!

Though I have to travel to them I never feel like it’s a waste. They have opened up the back of their shop/roasting area. I love both locations though parking is another story.

Soft Filtered water. Smooth yet bold drip coffee. Cookie 🍪 I had was amazing too. Sit down. Sit outside. Melrose skatepark is right down the street. They even sell skateboards here. Highly recommend this place.

They have great customer service here and overall good coffee. The way they decorate and the overall atmosphere of the place is lovely. They also have some fun merchandise as well.

One of the best coffee shops I've been to. The variety and quality of the beans they sell is incredible, and their espresso, especially the single origin, is the best I've had to date.

I have been to Vigilante coffee on a few occasions and every time they exceed my expectations.
