Ambiance paired well with delicious, tasty food. The seating was nice with several outdoor areas to enjoy the scenic views. They even have an area that is pet friendly and a special menu that you can order dinner for your dog or cat! The food was extremely tasty, homemade, with decent sized portions. They even have their own beer, and a nicely sized bar. This place is big enough to be able to enjoy with friends and family, but yet have a small town feel. From my seat I could see the river in the distance and the trees on the Hills above. I was so engrossed in the whole experience that I forgot to take pictures to show you, but I will be back soon!

Love this place! Good food. Good service. There's a charging station for your car, so it's a good stop for road trips! Sunday brunch never disappoints.
There's no changing table in the bathroom for little ones.

Absolutely delicious chicken pot pie. The crust was perfect. My only disappointment was that (for once) my kids actually ate all of their dinners and wouldn't let me lick their plates clean. Three of the four of us picked the pot pie, while the fourth enjoyed a vegetarian lasagna. (My only complaint -- where was the carnivore's lasagna option?!). There's a nice outdoor seating area which will be great to sit at and enjoy a beer on warmer days. Will definitely visit on a return trip to the area.

My second time here from my travels. Seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but once you know, you know. I came back for the Reuben sandwich. It is so good with the kimchi instead of the standard sauerkraut. The corned beef is perfectly sliced thinly that makes every bite juicy. The marble bread is toasted just right on the outside. I can't wait to go back. They also have a great choice of beers.

This restaurant is great. Parking is weird, handicap parking is in a lot to the side of the restaurant. You have to turn around on the main road in order to be able to turn into that small lot. The food is wonderful, the kitchen is a little slow so plan an hour and a half for your meal. I recommend their savory dishes over the sweet. The coffee is fantastic!

My new favorite place! It is worth the 30 minute drive. I absolutely love the atomosphere! The style is so gorgeous and creative. The staff is wonderful! They are attentive, welcoming, and very friendly. The food is delicious, unique, and beautifully presented. If I had to pick the best part, it would be the coffee and homemade flavored cream! I drove back the next day to buy a bag. I can't wait to come back again!

Nice atmosphere but no vegan options and no substitutions or even sides. 😔 I looked at the menu before going here but the item I was going to order was just taken off the menu. Disappointing. The coffee was good but we had to go eat somewhere else.

I haven't been to Penn Alps in years, the shop and restaurant are just as good as I remember. Didn't want a large meal as I was on my way home and had a long trip ahead, so decided to try out Cornucopia Cafe instead of the Friday buffet. Meagan was very nice and had no problem with my request for the steak and blue panini I ordered to be divided in the kitchen with half to go down the road as my next snack. It was very good and I will be stopping by again. Maybe for dessert next time.
