The Sassafrass Harbor Cafe is a very clean, nice and cozy place to eat! The employees are friendly and helpful! The food is good and there is a variety on the menu. You can eat in or take out. We will go back again!

We went in to get some iced teas togo and a dessert. It was a nice atmosphere so we decided to eat in house. At the end of our visit, we asked for our iced teas to be topped off and were told they couldn't be cause they were originally togo. The person that helped us was cold and had poor eye contact. She turned us off on the whole visit.

Hoping it would have been better, but here is our experience from last Sunday's breakfast- One server, not busy, sloooow service. Grill must have been dirty because everything we ordered came out with black griddle dirt on it. Coffee was old. Eggs Benedict- eggs were fried not poached on untoasted english muffins, 1/2" slabs of ham, and must have substituted melted butter for hollandaise sauce. $55 out the door for three people eating dirty eggs, not happy.

My burger wasn’t done all the way, very pink in the middle. I have never had a crab cake that every bite I had to spit out part of the shell. Waste of $40 in my opinion.

Stopped at this little cafe on the way home from visiting Mt Harmin Plantation, thanks to a brochure we picked up at the plantation office.

Great location and easy parking right along the Sassafras, by the marina, right where George Street meets Rt213. The staff were great, very friendly, and the food was delicious. I had a pulled pork sandwich that was excellent, my wife had a chicken sandwich that she loved. The cafe itself was clean and tidy, as were the restrooms, afterwards we took a walk around the marinas and spent some time in the gift shop/marine store located next to the cafe.

Will definately return to try other items on the menu.

Had a crsbcake which was full of jumbo lump crabmeat and very good. Fries or tots are 3$ more and rather a stingy portion. Service was not great, had to keep asking for more water. It was never offered.

Quaint harbor location for great food and decadent desserts. Try the Rockfish Johnny's hot sauce. You will not be disappointed! It's Chef John's secret recipe and you will put it on everything and be back for more.

I adore this little restaurant with its nautical vibe and waterfront view. We were even able to see the drawbridge in action while we enjoyed our delicious pancakes and coffee.
