Very rude and racist staff that wouldn't seat us even with open tables that could easy have been pushed together. On top of that, they didn't want us waiting inside and told us to wait outside in the cold when there was no one else waiting and there was plenty of space.

This is how they treated the only Asians in the restaurant. They didn't smile, they didn't even have kindness in their eyes. The server that told us to go outside looked like she wanted nothing more than for us to get out.

The owner should be ashamed to have staff that treat people like they're less than human. Only the host was kind.

my experience here was truly awful. my sister and i came here for brunch and the waiter would visit our table every 35 minutes. when we were first sat she didn’t come to the table until 20 minutes later and then we didn’t receive our food until quite some time later. mind you people are coming and going as we are still waiting, others who order significantly more than us were already done and got their bill.we would always give around 25 minutes in between before we had to get up and ask for help.

This place used to be really good, any latte would be made perfect and nothing in Frederick would beat it, but now the lattes come up room temperature and tasteless, there's no flavor and it taste like room temperature milk, same for the hot chocolate. The service is fast and nice, but the coffee is no longer good. On top of that, the food could be better, but it's not as bad as how the coffee has gotten, im honestly disappointed in the decline, it could be the baristas or the coffee itself. Maybe in the future it will do better.

EXTREMELY disappointed!!!!! I'm not from the area and came only due to the Google reviews and veg options. I Googled and actually took an Uber here as I waited for my car to get serviced. I ordered an rish Coffee and French Toast with eggs. The Irish Coffee was okay, the French Toast was terrible! I would've made better myself. Immediately after my last spoonful, the server brought the check. I hadn't even gotten halfway through my drink and I told her I wasn't yet ready to leave and would likely be ordering something else. I asked if there was an issue with that and she said well the lunch crowd is about to come in. She checked on me 2 - 3 times and half an hour later I ordered a second Irish coffee... once again before I finished it, less than 30 mins later she comes back with the updated check saying that the manager stated there was a 2 hour time limit on the table. In all my years of traveling and living all over the world as a woman and minority, and spending lots of time in cafés solo I had never been blatantly put out of one or so openly been shown that I was not welcome! You best believe I will take my patronage elsewhere. I Immediately paid and left with a very bad taste in my mouth... food was mediocre, both bathrooms were filthy and service was terrible. What a disappointment!

Best eggs Benedict Ive had in years. Hats off to the chef that knows the proper techniques on cooking a poached egg! 🙌💯 ..Blackberry white chocolate drink was delicious, got one to go. And the cheese curds melt in your mouth! Cant wait to go back!

The “tomato bisque soup” was a bowl of parmesan pizza sauce and the menu is a bit misleading because is you opt for something other than “chips” you have to pay $2 extra (do NOT order the tomato soup). The cheesesteak had just meat and was lacking flavor and missing onions and such that you’d expect. Fries were a bit soggy too. Servers were pleasant.

This was some of the best breakfast food we have ever eaten. I had the lox Benedict, tomato bisque and husband had scrambled eggs,sausage and bacon. I only gave this place 4 stars because of the obnoxious noise level. There are not any sound continuation effects in the building. After a delicious bloody Mary I didnt notice so much.

So many vegan options! This place has such a lovely vibe. Cool servers and did I mention plant based options!? The Philly cheese steak (sub with tempeh) is great. Also the black bean burrito. Most recently got the vegan hash. WOW! Impressive. Soy cappuccino was one of the best coffees I’ve had- so rich and perfectly sweetened.

Rueben sandwich was a little dry. Friend gave vegan breakfast sandwich a thumbs up. Service was good.
