In the midst of so many horrible coffee outlets in Bethesda-Friendshipb Heights-Rockville-Silver Spring, this place is a gem. This is the best coffee in the area hands down and the blueberry muffins are to die for (they aren't those horrible mass produced ones you find in other coffee shops). If I going to pay $4/5 for a latte, it better be good, and this place delivers! LOVE

Pastries are good. The Americano I ordered was weak/underwhelming flavor profile.

Have been twice several months apart. Cute space but haven't been impressed by the lattes and other specialty drinks. Mocha tasted like milk chocolate cocoa with faint espresso. Cannot comment on the beans themselves.

Two employees working there was so unpleasant. I asked the one standing at the register what the pour over options were. He said something but I couldn't hear him due to the noise and the plexiglass so I asked him again then the older employee making espresso (probably the one mentioned by the other reviewer) told me about the non-dairy milk options, which I did not ask. My coffee came out in double cups in lieu of the sleeve, which I did not realize until I spilled the coffee on my shirt. The lid did not sit tight on the cup containing the coffee because of the outer cup. Never go back again.

Great cold brew and nice barista with an amazing voice. Would definitely go back!

Small coffee shop with only a few spots to sit inside. The semi-outdoor seating is perfect for a pandemic pour over. Bright and relaxing atmosphere. Great beans.

Been waiting for this place to open for about a year since I first saw it under construction. Only other option around is Starbucks. Atmosphere of this place is great, casual quiet music and bright lights make it ideal for study / work. Got the espresso- not the best I’ve had but passable. The peanut butter - cinnamon- honey drizzle apple toast was fantastic though! Overall its standard coffee shop fare but given the lack of other options I’m glad Ceremony is here!

I really enjoy their coffee and food, but I have had consistently bad experiences with the older man that works the counter; he is abrasive and condescending, especially to younger women. He is also clearly mentioned in previous reviews from others.

Ceremony is the best coffee roaster in Maryland and one of the best in the country. Their cold brew is excellent and all of their single origins are amazing. The servers are super friendly, and they often do charitable roasts to help give back.

Can't recommend ceremony enough

Super cute and good coffee! Love the dog-friendly patio area. Definitely has a very Instagram-worthy hipster vibe with the beakers of coffee (not sure if they're still doing because of COVID) and locally-made vegan cookies. I only wish they had longer hours, I always seem to go on days they're closed.
