Delicious drinks/treats in an industrial yet inviting space. They brew their coffee on-site, which (to me) adds a lot to the appeal. I greatly enjoyed the cappuccino, and the blueberry muffin was a pleasant snack for two. Handful of indoor seats, and a decent amount more on the patio outside. I’d imagine parking might be an issue if you come at peak hours, but we didn’t have an issue.

A TRUE review of a horrible first time experience. I was in town for work purposes, and was looking for a place to grab coffee and take a zoom call. I frequent the ceremony in Baltimore and figured this should be a solid choice. WRONG.

First, the service was poor. The two young ladies at the register did not greet or welcome me upon entering. One seemed irritated to even answer my questions. Second, the very first question I asked, was is there Wi-Fi because I SPECIFICALLY came in to take a work call. I was told yes. After I bought food and sat down, I could not connect to Wi-Fi. I went back up to the register, for one of the ladies to admit they had been having issues with the Wi-Fi for WEEKS. Yet, they failed to mention this, and were perfectly fine taking my money. With 20 minutes to go on my call, I am scrambling to find a new location to work from. Third, the place is TINY, extremely loud, with barely any seating. All of the tables were covered in food crumbs and coffee stains.

Zero starts would never recommend

Having spent the last 8 years in New York City, one of America’s coffee meccas, Ceremony is THE coffee shop I visit for my NYC-standard latte. Their specialty drinks are quite good too, and never too sweet. Seating is limited but usually don’t have a problem getting one, especially when it’s warm enough to sit outside.

Cool location and decor, friendly and fast service. The coffee is delicious and you can buy beans if you like. This is their main roasting site. The nitro cold brew in a can is over priced and not actually nitro, I won’t buy that again. The cortado was excellent. It has a reasonable amount of seating and is quiet enough for studying, work, or a meeting. This is a local chain so check out the other locations as well. Pricing is on par with or slightly higher than Starbucks/Pete’s, but it’s worth it.

Came here twice over a week.
Decent pourover!

The customer service the first time was good. The baristas were kind and helpful.

The second time I came here, the wifi was not working. It was not working for every other customer in the café too. I asked the staff to help out but received a blunt and insolent “It’s working on our end” as a response. Nothing was done to attend to this seemingly minute issue even though the place was not busy at all.

BYOM (bring your own modem) if you plan to get some work done here!

The real deal for high end yet down to earth coffee. The roasting is literally happening behind the counter within sight. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to make recommendations. Know that you’re going to a factory - the machinery can get loud, but that authenticity should be part of the reason you’re going.

Delicious coffee, cute spot. I don’t usually add flavors to my coffee but their lavender honey latte sounded too good to pass up! Nice place to grab a coffee and read a good book. Kind, helpful staff.

Decided to try Ceremony out since it has good reviews online and I love trying new cafés and coffee shops. The place itself is cute. It has a small seating area outside and an urban rustic feel inside. The service/customer experience (ease of ordering, wait time, etc) was fine, really nothing special or memorable; The coffee was NOT good. I ordered a really basic drink — a cappuccino — which I drink nearly everyday. The one that was made here was possibly the worst cappuccino from a coffee shop that I’ve ever had. The espresso had a strong acidic taste and the milk was not that smooth velvety milk you’d expect in a cappuccino, it was more of flat steamed milk. I paid over $6 for a basic drink that I couldn’t drink.

In town from Seattle, and this fantastic coffee shop tucked away off west st is a hidden gem. Their roast is similar to Seattle's Herkimer (one of the top roasters in coffee town), the cappuccino I ordered was excellently made (sized smaller to let the coffee come through the milk), and the ambiance of their shop is great. Only criticism I could make is that the pastries were pretty average. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone who values good coffee, wants a cool place to hang out, or needs some home brewing gear (they have an excellent selection of brewing equipment).

The coffee shop itself is perfect, and feels like a well kept secret.
But unfortunately, the coffee is so very very sour and almost undrinkable.

Hopefully I will find another reason to sit at this beautiful coffee shop

(3 Weeks later decided to give it another try)
It's truly unfathomable that people are sitting here pretending to drink this coffee, this time we decided to try a cup of brew, and a cappuccino, after one mouth clenching sip of each, we poured them out and left immediately! I'm not sure whether they're completely faking it here, or they actually think this is servable coffee
