For these prices people should expect fresh coffee not hours old gunk from a pump thermos.
Go to north to Anthony's (at the Shell station) past the 95 overpass.
Beware: the ratings reflect a bias due to location and lack of competition.

I'm a local and been frequenting St. Joe's for about 5yrs. Food is awesome and coffee is great too, high quality assembled with care. Unfortunately I've recently been becoming more aware of a serious issue in the unhappiness and even disrepect going on behind the counter. Sour faces, short comments, just all around a really bad vibe from the staff. I want to love Joe's but it's become more of a place I try and get my food coffee and get out as quick as possible with minimal interaction with the staff. I'm not the only one to feel this way, as I've heard it from other locals and some have just stopped going all together to avoid the negativity going on back there. Nobody wants to start their day with someone frowning at them :(

From out of town, stopped in off of 95. I'm not a dunkin drinker and I enjoy finding local shoppes. Found this and was excited to see there was a lil sign at the register for CBD oil to be added to your beverages. I thought that was awesome lol I of course did it. The line was long (out the door, but that's a good sign to me) but it didnt take long for me to get my drink once my order was placed. The layout of the place makes it seem cramped but theres a lot of seating after the register. The only thing I truly didnt like was how to look at the drink menu I had to stare at a sign through a crowd of people and I'm pretty sure some lady thought I was looking at her and her husband 😅 it's high in a wall but I'm only 5'2 and it was just a little uncomfortable. Either way, made out with a great tasting latte

Wonderful Bennys. Top notch sauces for them too. They also have many different types of coffee to choose from. A bit expensive, but given the selection and quality, I think it's justified.

If you miss zeppolis, come here for their bennies

The best breakfast sandwiches in York hands down. Love the friendly faces as well!

I'm conflicted. I love the beignets ("bennies")... They're amazing. BUT, I always leave questioning whether I should come back First, as other reviewers have mentioned, the employees look sullen and miserable. The vibe is such a downer and I feel sorry for the people who work there. Second, and more importantly, the place is just dirty. There is dust and grunge on pretty much every surface. The display case, the beams, the fan, etc are covered in a thick layer. Cardinal sin for a food establishment. This is the stuff in plain sight, so I assume places out of view are down right filthy. If the place was clean and even moderately friendly, i'd give them 5 stars.

Great food and service! Known for the beignets but make great breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The Great Greens sandwich with eggs, cheddar, spinach and carmelized onions is awesome.

Love it here.
The bennies-fire.
The coffee-fire.
The sandwiches-fire.
Whoever this Joe guy is, knows what's up.
Favorite order: Large black hazelnut iced coffee and a Popeye with a hashbrown

I love this place. It's definitely the best breakfast in town. It's quick, easy, and very tasty! this is where I will bring all my friends when they come up to visit.
