Jorgensens Cafe and Deli

This is a beautiful cafe. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is almost cute in a way. Very homey, I love it here.

The low flying cloud of bacon grease should have been my first tip off. I ordered a basic sandwich and despite not having the type of bread I would expect to be present at a deli, I settled for something else.

My sandwich was all sorts of wrong not to mention 30 minutes after sitting down they brought our sandwiches out to us. Considering that they messed my order up, even though we were the only business they had at the time, I don't understand how these low standards are passable let alone celebrated by the locals. This was a waste of almost $24, I felt cheated.

I have been going to this establishment for years, the food and service has been great in the past. However, today I went and the staff was incompetent, and that’s being kind. They got my order very wrong, and what I did get was such poor quality it was not eatable. when I pointed that out they told me I got what I ordered, and made no effort to correct, and were quite rude. I’ve wondered why the place is always empty, and now I know why. Today they lost a long time customer.

Staff is fast, friendly and accurate with orders. It's a semi-fancy place and they make their own baked goods. Bagles, bread etc. They have fancy and delicious chocolates made locally. They also have quite the variety of coffee to choose from and you pour it yourself and add cream and sugar yourself so your coffee is always exactly how you want it. There is also a make your own soda station. They start with seltzer water and then they let you choose whatever flavor (or flavors) you would like. All in all, it's a very nice little establishement that looks too nice to be located in downtown Waterville.

Place has gone downhill but the coffee is still good. Isn't like it used to be. Place used to be packed and felt much more comfortable. Nice employees.

New York Bagel Lovers OVER HERE!!! Theresa is THE ONLY baker that I have had the utmost pleasure of experiencing in the great state of Maine, to have MASTERED the art of a perfectly crafted taste (and that slight crunch!) that really rivals that of an authentic New York bagel which I personally grew up loving for 30 years. A lot of bagels stores here are amiss on their salt ratio in their doughs but not Theresa! She has nailed it oxox Fantastic selection of flavored and well bodied coffees to choose from as well as one of the best cinnamon rolls I have had in years. Need I mention how much I admire this talented woman for following her dreams and giving Waterville not only a spotless environment to dine in with fantastic service with a smile but also the deliciousness of the products of her love. Thank you so much for all of your heartfelt efforts every day that make our town, our home. You are defintely one of my heros <3

Lattes are superior! The owner is so great & always there with a smile! A couple of my favorites are the daily Quiche & the Curry Chicken Salad!

Everytime I have ordered here it has taken an hour for just a couple sandwiches to be made. This time was no differant. They told us 15 minutes when i called the order in ahead of time. I waited a half hour and when i got there they hadn't even started making my food. Absolutely ridiculous! The food is good but not worth waiting an hour for it to be made.

This cafe has a very warm inviting atmosphere here! The owner was friendly and the food...homemade and delicious! I would definitely come here again and recommend it to others!

Highly recommend the breakfast burrito oh and their asiago cheese bagels and so much more.
