Classic Provisions Fine Food & Gourmets

Horrible pastries!
Purchased 2 pastries this past weekend. They were so hard we had to use a knife to cut them. After only 1 bite I had to throw mine away it tasted so awful. My spouse ate his out of politeness, but an hour later regretted that decision when he felt ill and had GI distress.
The pastries tasted like frozen, commercially prepared pastries that had been cut and thawed with a cheap filling put in between the layers.
I ended up purchasing my afternoon snack & tea at a place down the street and was much happier with what I received.

Classic Provisions is a small market with a tiny sign in the shadows of the Rangeley Inn. Once inside, it somehow feels very spacious. They have all kinds of local food for sale: cheeses, jams, bacon, etc. There are also sandwiches (pic below of my breakfast burrito) and coffee you can take to go or get to stay at the long table by the window. Lovely service by a woman whose friendliness made the upscale (yet affordable) market feel homey. Classic Provisions is a gem, right on Main St.

Waited for over an hour after ordering and still did not receive my order. It is supposed to be a 'grab and go' place. No idea what took them so long to make a caprese
Left the place because we were starving and saw no hope of getting food here. Waste of my money.

Absolutely delicious food that you just can't get anywhere else in down. A must visit when in Rangeley.

Not a lot of breakfast choices in Rangely but even with take out window ordering; these kind folks make some excellent home baked goodies and sandwiches. Nice job

Yuopie delight in Maine. Fresh veggies, homemade pies, select beers. Now has an ice cream stand too. A must visit.

I take my kiddos here almost once a week for a special baked treat! The food is outstanding! The service is like family! Lovely collection of local food and other products!

This place I tell you has got the best breakfast burrito I have ever had

Went to order they didnt have alot of thing that on there menu ordered smoothie it was awful. Order orange glaze scone it was tastey

Great place - lovely coffee and the maple bacon danish is a total game changer!
