A quality space in downtown. Small space serving big things. Delicious coffee and excellent service. Highlighly recommend it.

Adorable hole in the wall coffee shop. Loved my vanilla latte! The barista was very friendly, would definitely go back!

Neat place with some tasty coffee. Would have liked to see larger sizes available for iced coffee, etc but a cool spot for sure.

First morning in a brand new city on a brand new coast, and I needed a coffee. Staff were friendly, space was SO cool, and the coffee was perfect. Lack of review on the pastries is simply due to my not partaking, but they looked lovely

The art isn’t just on the walls—the coffee is phenomenal. Often the owner is working the espresso machine and if you go there on one of those days, you’ll love whatever you order. He’s a master barista tbh

Great coffee and vibes. We got two oat milk iced lattes, one with lavender and one with vanilla. Very tasty!

Don't listen to the negative reviews of others about this place. They clearly have only ever had chain restaurant sub par coffee. This coffee was great! 🔥 I got a regular ol' cappuccino and let me tell you, it was the best cappuccino I've had since my barista days at the culinary institute of America! My coffee wasn't bitter, if anything it had awesome subtle notes of blueberry! Me and the hubs split a blueberry scone too which was phenomenal. Super moist for a scone. I thought I was the only one with the secret scone recipe! I brush mine with heavy cream and sanding sugar before baking.👌
I enjoyed it so much I came here just to leave this review! And I bought a bag of their coffee!

I’m writing this review on only the espresso. I ordered a double long espresso (week of 6/15/2022) and it tasted like motor oil- I did they same at Bard coffee. I have no idea why but neither place tasted normal or good. I don’t know if its the coffee they’re using, or perhaps the method in which they’re making it, but it did not taste good- which is hard to do. Perhaps they don’t cater or have coffee that caters to espresso drinkers? I don’t know but if you’re a coffee shop, this should be the easiest and first things you perfect how to make. I wish I had known. The third day I caved and went to Starbucks. I’m not a fan of Starbucks but at least the espresso tasted like espresso. Maybe there needs to be an espresso tasting class for these independent Portland coffee shops? Because I’ll tell you, I’d much rather give small businesses my business over a conglomerate like Starbucks - but the product has to be up to snuff- it just has to. Please taste your products, please taste test others. We need independent businesses, but we need them to stack up or taste better than the corporations.
Edit- this was NOT yesterday- it was the week prior while on vacation…but that exact response from the ‘owner’ below (yikes!) is probably why this place does not make a good cup of espresso. Probably better to STAY AWAY. Have a nice day 😊
* Oh he changed his response 😂- just FYI- the coffee in this shop is terrible and the owner is not at all nice. Really wished he kept up his initial response!
