Very loud, had to wait probably 4-5 minutes with nobody in front of us to place an order, wanted waffles but ended up being told their equipment was too badly maintained and wouldn't cook them. The food we ended up with was mediocre and fairly forgettable. Probably won't ever come back.
the restaurant vibes are okay, but most of the plants are dying and some were dead, there was a nasty fan in the dining room with hair, dust and who knows what else in the fans cage. the floors are pretty dirty as well and it looks like it just needs a good sweep and mopping. the food is somewhat overpriced and when i ordered a PB banana smoothie bowl, the smoothie wasn’t freshly made and was very runny.
The breakfast sandwich is great but the amount of time it took to get the breakfast sandwich out was insane, it took over 30 minutes with 7 people working. I completely understand when there is a rush wait time can be long but 7 people working should minimize that.
The environment is cozy but the service is too slow. They prioritize takeout orders not people coming in to enjoy the atmosphere. During our extended wait time, we observed we were not the only ones with mistakes to our order. Overall, lots of room for improvement. If there is no change, people will still leave unsatisfied.

Be prepared for eye rolls and heavy sighs if you bring it to their attention. I have suggested The Nest to friends who now refuse to go back because of how unfriendly the staff is.

I initially wanted a decaf latte - I don’t expect every place to have decaf espresso so I was fine with that not being available. However, when I asked for regular decaf coffee, I was informed that it ran out earlier (on a Sunday morning) and they didn’t plan on making more. My friend asked for a maple latte and was told they were out of the flavor (even though it was written on the menu). The iced passion tea was good and I’ve had good coffee and tea drinks in the past. We neglected to stay due to the noise of the machines and the loud music playing.
