UPDATE 10/06/2021: Came here two years ago and the passage of time seems to have made a world of difference. Last time the owner was at counter serving us and was very pleasant and conversational. This time the staff members were strangely, almost comically, unfriendly, as several of the other commenters mentioned. The service was so unfriendly (along with the mediocre coffee - maybe just an “off” day) that we decided to frequent a different cafe for the last six days of our week-long vacation (Dot’s Market, just up the street). Customer service goes a longgggg way. I hope that the owner adjusts accordingly.
INITIAL REVIEW 10/2019: Amazing selection of teas, reasonable prices, and good quality. Staff was pleasant. Will be back to buy some loose tea for home.

A perfect dark roast pour over this morning. Can’t be happier. I really needed it, too. They delivered :) prices remain reasonable too.

Great coffee, friendly staff, impressive selection of teas. Will definitely stop by again when I am anywhere nearby. Worth a visit.

We were grateful for a place open at 7:00am to grab a warm drink on the drive up to Acadia National Park. Cute place with lots of coffee and tea options for sale. My husband enjoyed his latte, but the Matcha latte I was originally given was almost all milk. (It was barely even green.)
I drink matcha all over the place, so politely asked that they remake it and add more matcha powder, which the barista graciously did and the result was much better than my original drink.
I will say that if you’re going to serve matcha, you really should invest in a $15 bamboo whisk so it can get mixed in and not steamed with the milk, which burns the tea. Just my two cents.

I didn't go into the store (my loss), but I sampled some of their coffees in local restaurants and fell in love with their Rosie's Blend. When I got home, I looked up the web site and ordered some. Their customer service is impeccable and their coffee is delicious!

Adorable space, amazing tea selections, friendly atmosphere, and lovely coffee shop all in one. Yum

A gem. Great coffee, lots of lovely loose leaf tea. Very fairly priced, and it feels like a fairy glade. Be nice to the people there though! Rude unmasked tourists need not apply!

Great coffee and big selection of accessories.

I've purchased tea from them through Etsy first then in person at the shop. The quality is the best I've ever found, and the selection is amazing. John and his staff are incredibly helpful. I'd highly recommend checking them out.

Very good coffee, nice ambiance with outside rocking chair, "Adirondack like seats" to relax, oil lamps in front of the "old coffee shack". A passionate owner who serve you himself at the end of the day.
We were in vacation in the area and discovered Green Tree Coffee at our inn breakfast who was supplied by them, and we wanted to discovered the real thing and we were not disappointed. It became a small habit to stop by on our way to the beach. We bought a 2 pounds bag of "happy dog" to bring back home, but we already know that it will not be the same 😉 !
Even our 2 years old daughter (who didn't try the coffee) loved the place.
