The good:
Location is cool.
Person I went with got an almond croissant, and it seemed to be pretty good.

The bad:
They also got a cortado with almond milk, and I tried a sip, which is all that was needed to understand why they wanted to throw it away. The espresso beverages are in need of work. I'm not sure if it was the temperature, the timing, the grind size, or the beans, but their espresso technique desperately needs dialing in. Bitterness beyond excuse sounds harsh, but it's the reality of the espresso here.
I got a match latte that had been denatured by using too hot of liquid or too low quality matcha when being made, so it tasted overwhelmingly fishy. If it was the temperature of the liquid, perhaps this is better cold. In any case, both drinks were trashed after 2 sips of each.

I'd like to attempt this place again in the summer when I can try their cold drinks.

My wife and I stopped in for iced lattes two weeks ago on our seasonal trip through Kennebunkport. We are both avid coffee drinkers and repeatedly said to each other that these may very well be the most delicious lattes we've ever had. It was something about the character of the roast where it was just smoky enough but not overpowering.

As other reviews have mentioned the woman behind the counter is extremely rude. My husband, young daughter and I stopped by for a lemonade one afternoon. My daughter likes her lemonades with lots of ice, so we asked the woman serving us if we could have extra ice. Instead of offering to charge us more for it (which we would've happily paid for) she aggressively said "no I can't give you extra ice I have to pay for that you know." Her tone was so rude and her overall attitude was so off putting! I don't know how you run a business treating your customers like this. Luckily we had a delicious lunch at the clam shack next door and they gave us a cup of ice no problem. Skip this place and all the nastiness that comes with it.

Super friendly. I’m from the west coast and super picky about coffee. This doesn’t quit hit the bar for me but definitely some of the best coffee in the area.

Pumpkin spice Latte. Great taste!

Great coffee and better blueberry muffin. Wife had a pumpkin bread that also topped the charts. Would love to come back sometime

Excellent coffee. We stop by a few times a day when we stay at Kennebunks. There is a beverage for each family member and a pastry or a piece of cake in case we are hungry

Nice location and the coffee wasn’t bad. What ruined it for my wife and I was the abrasiveness of who I assume was the owner. We are from the south and possibly overly sensitive to barking orders without some warm up. I don’t take bad reviews lightly and avoid them when at all possible. On this occasion I not only had a negative interaction but observed another customer being ordered about as well. I assume this may be an ongoing issue.

Quaint little spot smack in the middle of town. Parking can be a challenge. Inside a smiling enthusiastic staff awaits the pleasure to serve you. I was impressed with the fresh flavor of the coffee. Most coffee shops serve stale burnt coffee by the time the afternoon rolls around. I'll be sure to return for another afternoon mocha : )

We ordered takeout and got 4 drinks. Latte and Chai Latte were fantastic. The other coffees were great as well... full palette, nice round taste, good balance. On top of if all, the staff were incredibly friendly and the location is quaint. Would recommend!
