Owl & Turtle Bookshop Café

The Owl & Turtle Bookshop is one of my favorite places -- not just in Camden or in Maine, but anywhere. It's the perfect bookstore -- cozy and intimate, with an excellent and well-curated selection of books, knowledgeable owners who take the time to get to know their customers, and a great little cafe where book lovers can gather and catch up over delicious coffee. Due to current circumstances, we haven't been able to travel up to Maine so far this year, but it has been extremely easy to get in touch with them to place orders for shipping, and we have received excellent recommendations even from afar.

Really beautiful book store with a great selection. On site was a coffee and bakery stand accessable from the outside. Wonderful cookies and great coffee. It is a perfect little hideaway from the main street through town.

Not only a great, well-rounded bookshop, but a fantastic coffee shop as well. Super friendly owner-operators, staff and the best baristas serving up some of the best coffee the Midcoast had to offer!

Cute lovely place. Great for a little break. Lovely staff. Lots of good coffee choices. They do pour over! Tried the blueberry and lavender shortcake. Unique! Love the cozy feel of the store.

Possibly the cutest little book shop I've ever seen, the wee coffee shop inside has made the best Americano in Camden, and the upstairs childrens area!! GAH!! Such a yummy morsel in this darling town <3

Love books - especially children's books? Love Coffee? Love to read on a rainy Maine Day while onVacation ? Owl & Turtle Bookshop Cafe is a great place to stop over - small inventory but great, friendly staff and it is child friendly -I like to stop when I am in the area!

Probably one of the best coffees I've had. We always stop by for a coffee and a local author book when in the area.

I visited Maine on vacation but still needed to get some school work done. The atmosphere was very inviting and calm. The conversations I had with the staff was very pleasant and they seem to really care about me and my order in my opinion it was six out of five stars.
