This looks to be a newly opened store. The interior is sparkling clean and warm with lots of exposed wood.
Inventory of grocery items was a little low.
Dairy and meat products available.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. This store is in a location that otherwise lacks access to some simple necessities.

Nice local general store. Bit upscale. Good bread ,pastries and some produce. Beer and wine. Bit of everything even some small gift items .quite reasonable.

Worse cup of coffee I've ever had. I got the largest cup they had and I'd classify it as a medium if that. Coffee was warm and usually it takes me a bit to drink a cup of coffee, especially I'm driving (which I was), I finished this one in less than 5 minutes/5 miles...( I hadn't even left Brooklin before I finished it) and the taste left something to be desired....almost like it sat in the pot for a few hours. For that "large" cup of coffee, a bottle of soda and a bottle of juice was almost $7. I'll take that $7 and drive to the closest Dunkin in Blue Hill for a HOT cup of coffee, not bathwater coffee.

Great pick up foods, wonderful coffee, marvelous baked goods, and quick groceries and pleasant service. Brooklin General is a great spot to go for any of the above. Well worth the trip no matter what.

A great small town store that has been greatly improved over what it had been before. The only downside is it tends to have limited hours and doesn't always have all the staples that you might need, but it usually has enough to save a trip to Blue Hill.

What would be a 7-11 in most other states' suburbs, eager to overcharge for stale food and the "convenience" of, I dunno, being there, the Brooklin General Sore instead has everything from household staples, to bread and pastries and pizza (everything baked themselves or by a virtual neighbor), to warm meals and breakfast sandwiches wrapped in aluminum foil (all cooked themselves and winners every one), to a small but eagle-eyed selection of beer and wine, all at not just reasonable but good prices. Go to the Brooklin General Store. For a weary traveler to Acadia, it can be like a mirage—save that there's nothing fantastical about the outside and the inside is full of smiles, polite women and men, and all the delicious fare described above.

Friendly, charming interior, good selection of foods, beer. Good prices. Next door there is an awesome gift shop, very eclectic stuff, friendly owner. Wish I could remember the name!

Every time I've been in Brooklin I've gone to this place, it was good before the renovations, but even better now. If you need a quick snack and are in town, go here.

A great gem of a store for quick provisioning of quality food, wine and prepared foods before launching the boat from Brooklin Boat Yard

I could write a page but it's not worth the time. Hands down the worst store on the peninsula. Don't trust the tourist reviews and save yourself the trip.
