The apple fritters are the best!!!! Monroe is my home but I live in Charlotte, NC and I take a dozen home and freeze them and they’re still good. Five stars to customer service and cleanliness also.

Nice people, she gave me free donut holes with my breakfast sandwich. Very clean, make their own bread.

This place is awesome!! You can't ever go wrong with eating donuts and kolaches. Especially, the Down Home Kolache. Also,the donuts are light and fluffy. Great customer service an always so friendly. Give them a try because you will definitely not regret it.

Their doughnuts are different then most the ones I've tried and worth a stop every now and then plus the service is always polite fast and the employees are always very kind. So if you drive by before work stop and grab a coffee and say hello.

Folks, these are the absolute best donuts I've ever eaten. They are extra light & fluffy. I bought a variety of their offerings about 25 minutes ago, so far I've only tried the plain glazed & chocolate glazed yeasted donuts. I've never liked chocolate glazed because when bitten into, the glaze usually pops off and makes a big mess. Not so with these, the glaze is nice & creamy & not at all messy. They gave me a sample to try & after 1 bite sitting in my truck in their parking area, I went back inside to buy a 1/2 dozen. Keep in mind that this was near their closing time of 2pm & the donuts were this good, I can only begin to imagine how wonderful they are early in the morning when they're still warm.
UPDATE: While @ the store on the above visit, I purchased some apple fritters. That was on Saturday. The following Tuesday, 3 days later, we rewarmed them & they were fabulous. Don't ditch your leftovers, they're great rewarmed a few days later. I haven't found that to be the case at any other donut shop.

Super fresh donuts. We got a few different ones to try and liked all but one. The old fashioned with chocolate frosting had an odd after taste but the cinnamon roll donuts were amazing. Definitely a must try.

The guy was amazing. He took glazed doughnuts and chocolate dipped them for me just like shipleys used to. That was awesome. He was sooooo nice. Everything was all fluffy and fresh made to.

The man that owns it & operates it is always courteous & kind & also generous. I ordered a little over my budge the other day, like .70 cents & he said not to worry about it. The donuts were hot, fresh & awesome as well as the pigs in a blanket but the boudin kolache was so delectable & yummy! Great place with a good variety of other breakfast foods on their menu

Fantastic! Everything is made the morning of, not the day before. The donuts are light and practically melt in your mouth. My kids look forward to a donut and kolache breakfast once a week. I cannot give enough praise to the staff for the fast, friendly service they provide.

Sweetest people and always welcoming with a smile. Delicious products and store always looks sparkling from what I've seen. As an assistant manager of another resturant chain I go there alot and intend to continue and take my crew surprise breakfast from there time to time. Bravo guys and keep up the excellent work.
