Was kind of disappointed... Drove a good ways bc everyone talked so good about this bakey and there was basically nothing on the shelves, employees weren't very informative on what they had to offer or anything... Idk if I'll waste the gas to go back or not...

The employees are nice. There are an assortment of baked that smell and taste amazing. I love their cinnamon rolls. They are fluffy, tasty, tall, and huge. You can share a single one with someone else or get your own and save some for later. I get my own and buy extras for others to try.

This is the best place for fresh baked goods. And loved their King Cake!!

I have been a big supporter and regular customer of the Lowder Baking Company since they have open and have tried just about every item they offer. Their quality breads and pastries are second to none and it's hard to pick a favorite.Their pastries are flakey and buttery not to mention LARGE. I love their almond croissants my son's favorite and breakfast croissant. I recommend making a sampler box if you are a new customer to find your favorite. I love their homemade breads for sandwiches and toast. Last but not least can you say king cake !! My favorite is the strawberry and cream cheese. What makes these king cakes special is their bread.they use to make these. I recommend you visit early particularly on weekends. You won't be disappointed!! The staff has always been friendly, patient and helpful.

Awesome little bakery! Their pastries and breads are to die for. I especially love the rosemary bread and cinnamon rolls.

Was excited to purchase my first kingcake for the year from this bakery after seeing many good reviews, I purchased a blueberry and cream and was somewhat disappointed when we took our first taste, it was very dry and thick, seemed like it may have been old. Definitely lacking in flavor thinking it might just be me it was shared with other family members who also stated it was very dry. Price wasn't cheap expecting alot more!

Excellent cream cheese king cake

Everything I’ve had from this place is superb. People are very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that they aren’t making their pastry cinnamon rolls anymore. They are truly the GOAT sweet treat. Regular cinnamon rolls still better than anywhere else and almond croissants are a very nice continental treat. Try the seasonal peach turnovers and the homemade pop tarts are excellent as well. This place is truly a local gem and a South Highlands neighborhood treasure.

FRESH and delicious. Every fruit danish is worth trying - fresh fruit, creamy cheese, in a flaky, buttery danish. The Hamburger buns are perfect for grilling out and they are huge.

Blueberry and cream cheese king cake is good, but not finding any cream cheese and very little blueberry. I am literally adding cream cheese to it myself. Tastes good, but will try different bakery next time. 2 years ago, it was superb!

Lowder Bakery was more than happy to provide another Blueberry Cream Cheese King Cake on Friday of the same week at no charge.
Again, the king cake is good, but the filling just doesn’t live up to expectations. There was extra icing on it, but the cream cheese filling just doesn’t exist in it, but there was more blueberry filling which saved it. Perhaps, just cream cheese would work better for us. Idk
In all fairness, the second cake was definitely fresher than the one picked up on a Tuesday. It will be consumed, the first one was partially eaten and then thrown out. On that note, I will change my rating to 4 stars.
