Sacred Grinds is awesome.
Take the canal streetcar to the cemeteries.
Have coffee on the back patio.
Amongst the headstones.

Staff is great.
Coffee and drinks are great.
Try the Mardi Gras king cake shake. It's delicious. It even has a plastic baby.

The Elvis is also good.
Peanut butter and banana shake.

Grab a cup of coffee and wander through the cemeteries.
Nice quiet experience.

Only heard good things plus close to all the Canal cemeteries Sacred Grinds has some outside seating maybe for 4 but way busy street it's right by end of Canal streetcar, the coffee is great the neighbors love it but it's connected to The Herb Import, great gifts, incense, essential oils, glass products in their back room and ATM, a block before they also own the Shoppe for fun items for both guys and gals

I have been a pretty frequent customer here over the last couple of years and I’ve got a feel for this business,#1 customer service needs work, also had a terrible encounter with a man, dark hair,Piercings, dressed in business attire while the lady was working, the one with the colorful tattoos,he says to me as I’m walking out “your just gonna use the bathroom and not buy anything” the rudest way possible not realizing that I’m a frequent customer and was just low on funds that day,I would take the bus to work at that time and it just so happen to be out front of the store..I looked at the lady hoping she would stand up for me,knowing she must recognize me as a frequent customer but she just looked at the floor when I looked for her to stand up for me...I was shocked that I was treated so terribly.

Good little shop inexpensive and good chai blend, #moonchai, and the herb needs way more time to really enjoy. We stopped in at my bil's recommendation.... definitely back when in this neck of the woods.

Not a place if you're in a hurry but good cafe and friendly folks. Chief view is the cemetery.

A unique place to get coffee. No indoor seating, but the outdoor is covered and has a great view of an old New Orleans cemetery.
