Old Road Coffee

I walked in to order and the person at the counter sighed and seemed bothered by my presence in the establishment. I ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. They placed a pre-made breakfast sandwich in front of me,that had been sitting on the counter under no heating or refrigeration. Aside from this not following safe food practices and being a potential health risk with eggs sitting in a danger zone of temperature, the person at the counter then just walks away as I'm proceeding to check out and starts complaining to their coworker about the lettering on one of their signs. This was a very unwelcoming environment and I was obviously incredibly disappointed after I opened the box to an cold egg sandwich.

There aren’t enough stars in the universe for this place! We stopped in for a snack this afternoon after trying (and failing) to find COVID-safe takeout in the French Quarter all day, and not only did we get amazing banana bread, the wonderful woman at the counter offered us free sandwiches and coffee because she was closing up! Everything was delicious and our day was saved! This place is the best!!

Amazing staff and delicious, strong coffee. Beautiful space in the heart of Treme. The team works hard to make sure everyone feels welcome there and it shows. Highly recommend!

The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. The coffee is really good and adhered to my numerous dietary restrictions.

Delicious tea and an unpralleled barista! Not sure of her name (she was the one working around 1:30 on Feb 17th), but she was such a considerate sweetie. Great customer service :)

Nice little neighborhood coffee shop! Love the music and service is super friendly. Only thing that'd Id change about it is that the barred windows bring down the ambiance a bit, especially if you're seated near a window and like a view of the street.

First time here. Their pace is ok but don't go there in a rush. My caramel latte was robust(ican Handle it because I drink most of my coffee black) so make sure you taste your drink before you leave.

I come here often and the baristas are always kind!! I came in today and accidentally stole someone else’s drinks… oops. The baristas were really kind about it. Y’all are the best!

Had a great afternoon escape here today. The coffee was great, and the space is stunning. Great place to work remotely or hang out. Our pugs appreciated the water bowl outside!

Amazing location, kind staff, good air conditioning, cool art and very good snacks and coffee. They didn't have decaf drip coffee but I did get a decaf cappuccino, which tasted great.
