Mammoth Espresso

I’m so glad the mocha tasted like coffee with chocolate instead of the other way around. Oftentimes cafes tend to give you what is essentially chocolate milk. The chai latte was also very good. Was nice having a conversation with the barista while he made the drink - it helps build a good rapport with customers, and it’s sort of the reason we’ll be going back there for a good coffee next time we’re in the area. I’d even make a trip there if it was out of the way, that’s how good the coffee is.

Mammoth makes my favorite coffee in the city. I’m not able to make it down nearly as often as I’d like, but every time I do the staff is delightful and the coffee and pastries are mouth watering. Wish I were able to give more than 5 stars! Keep up the amazing work Mammoth!

In my opinion, the best coffee shop in New Orleans! It's a semi small coffee shop with limited seating indoors and outdoors, taking excellent COVID-19 precautions. Coffee is very good quality. I recommend getting the flat white.

Easily my favorite coffee in the city. I go out of my way to go here because it's that good. I love the staff. I appreciate all the effort the shop extends as far as protecting the staff and customers in regards to the pandemic. (Get the Galeras iced and black if they have it)

This is the best coffee shop in downtown New Orleans, hands down. The baristas are always welcoming to begin with, and then they make you a beverage that'll knock your socks off. I love that they offered some beautiful tea gift sets during the holidays for the discerning tea drinker in everyone's life.

Also, it goes without saying their careful covid protocols to protect their employees and customers have been very appreciated. I always tell my fellow locals to check out Mammoth, and if they don't love it their next cup at their preferred coffee joint is on me.

I’ve tried so many coffee shops that claim to have the best lattes. Mammoth is by far the best locally. The flavors here taste natural and not artificially flavored like most other places. Will definitely return!

I do not live in New Orleans, but every time I make a trip I make a point to visit Mammoth Espresso. As a former barista at a 3rd wave shop, I can confidently say that their coffee is consistently excellent. If you are a specialty coffee enthusiast, or anyone who enjoys coffee, Mammoth is absolutely the best choice in the city (which is no easy feat, NOLA has a wonderful coffee community). Mask up and take a trip to Mammoth the next time you're in town :)

This was by far the best coffee on New Orleans. I love cardamom espressos. The service was meh for a higher end place. Update, service was better the second time. They had more staff the second time too.

Best coffee I had during my visit in New Orleans. My husband was so happy that he got a second cup to go. The variety of baked goods was small but also really good.
