The Book & The Bean

A treasure for Old Mandeville. The Book & The Bean has been community focused since their first day open. Sweet owners and always looking to improve what is already a top spot! Our group is here 3-4 days/week. So happy there is now a service oriented coffee spot in OM.

Cost of espresso shots are shocking. I ordered a double and a quad, expecting to spend less than $10. It was $18 and some change. The beans are fresh and good but not made of gold. It was not posted clearly that EVERY SHOT IS $4.50.

I wanted to shop local even though the book there was more expensive. The book was back ordered and they didn’t call me. They acted like me and the book I wanted was a bother. I went to Barnes and Noble, and they were friendly and appreciative!

Cozy up inside or relax outside while enjoying the best coffee or tea around. The shop features delicious locally roasted Flamjeaux coffee, as well as unique art, gifts, and food items offered by local artisans. Browse the book shelves and consider attending the weekly book club. Pleasant and efficient baristas welcome you in!

I love this little Coffee Café!! The ladies are so sweet. I went for an author's book signing at the Sip 'n' Stroll.

Great selection of books and shopping goodies. The locally sourced coffee is delicious, too! A great meeting places for friends and business. Highly recommend.

Wonderful people, great selection and the coffee was on point! The candles and other merchandise were all beautiful and worth every penny!
