Dodson Roadside Cafe & Creamery - Operated by Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge

Wonderful place to stop in for a burger or shrimp basket! Peanuts while you wait for your food to arrive, wonderful iced tea, and all around great service. Our favorite is the coconut fried pie served with a scoop of creamery vanilla ice cream. We just brought home freshly roasted ground coffee. Most of the cooks are from south Louisiana, so that food is GOOD!!!

Fantastic little stop along the highway. Quaint, homey atmosphere and great service. Delicious burgers and hand cut fries are not to be missed. Grab a slice of pie and a scoop of ice cream while you're at it!

We've eaten at the Dodson Roadside Cafe & Creamery twice, as we were passing through to visit family up in Ruston. The food was wonderful, reasonably priced, and served with a great attitude. Keep up the great work, guys!!! God bless you!

Food was great with very large portions. Meals, sandwiches and ice cream. Eating here helps support Adult and Teen Challenge to change dependency through Christian counseling.

We always stop by when we’re out on a ride. The staff is super sweet. The food is always good and the environment is amazing. We have a friend from Arkansas that says the only reason he comes down to see us is for the food at Dodson.

Will not be eating here again this tha third time my burger has been half cooked I’m tired of taking it back
