I love the atmosphere and aesthetic of the place and the drinks are well made and tasty. I had a white chocolate frappe and it was delicious. Surprisingly good little cafe.

Amazing little coffeehouse in Downtown Covington Louisiana. The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is nice. Love going to downtown Covington and browsing the specialty shops, and stopping in at St. John's Coffeehouse to sit a spell and drink coffee.

Nice spot with classic decor mixed with modern art. They have beer as well as coffee (like a good Louisiana coffee house) and premade food. It gets really loud from all the activity behind the bar however. Those like me with misephonia might be annoyed.

Very Cool Coffee Shop. Variety of drinks. And variety of foods. Plenty of tables inside and 1 or 2 outside. Easy walk from Southern Hotel.

After only one visit, I may have found my new favorite coffee shop on the Northshore.
To me, a coffee shop should be more than just a place to get a cup of coffee. It should be a cool and relaxed place to hang out, work, or even discuss complex world problems. For years I have a had a place like this in New Orleans (Mojo Coffee), but I didn't think I would ever find one on this side of the lake.
Oddly enough I learned of St. John's while at Mojo in New Orleans. While talking with a friend, he recommend I try St. John's. I am thankful that I listened because after one visit, I know that he was absolutely right.
St. John's is everything I look for in a coffee shop. Located in old Covington, the building is old, but well maintained. This gives it much more character than a purpose built modern shop. The daytime vibe was very subdued and relaxed. Although I just stopped in for a coffee to go, I would have felt at ease sitting there for several hours. Next time I have some time to kill, I will probably do it here.
My iced coffee was very good, and without a doubt, the best I've had on the Northshore.
I really liked St. John's. If you are in the mood for a non-chain place with a great atmosphere and great coffee, give St. John's a try.
Note: It looked like they even sold beer and have concerts. If this is true, I am highly impressed. I always wanted a place that I could get coffee in the morning and beer at night.

Met a friend there. I didn't get to try anything there yet. But the place is nice and I enjoyed going.

I've had good experiences in the past, but this morning there was a bald gentleman with earrings working who seemed really rushed and irritated to have customers in the shop. He was borderline rude to the elderly woman in front of me, and he messed up both my order and the order of the customer behind me.

Really great coffee, perfect for hanging out with friends.
Interior is nice and quiet, live performances sometimes are really nice too.
A local favorite.

I like to call this a real coffee house. Old building feel, art for sale, trendy barista's and a good cold brew coffee. Fell in love with this place for it's smoked salmon BLT. I will never forget that thing...
