Update: Not consistently good.
I recently moved to Shreveport from the UK. All my family is from Ruston and the rest from NOLA. I have been trying coffeeshops all over. Most people recommended Rhino, but I was not impressed. On a whim I passed Coffee on the Red and decided I was going to try it on the way back towards my house. It is the best coffee I've found so far in Shreveport or Ruston. I still maintain the coffee in the Pacific NW is the best, but this coffee tasted almost exactly like a lot of the shops there. Their barista pulls a great shot that is zero bitter. I could probably drink their coffee black. I got a mocha though, light on the syrup. I will definitely be going back to see if it's consistently good. When I googled coffeeshops they did not come up. It was mostly Starbucks and Rhino. So for now, it's Shreveport's best kept coffee secret.

I never post review but this place is worth the five stars and my money!!! My drink is always perfect and delicious! Great way to start my day with a smile!

Just don’t go here. Starbucks is better and if you complain the pretentious guy on the phone will just gaslight you into believing the drink is just naturally horrible. Which is wild considering I’ve had it before and enjoyed it but this time was bad, literally just threw it away. But like I said don’t even bother complaining, they don’t care. They will literally hang up in your face.

Dang, they make an amazing latte!! Perfectly smooth with just the right amount of acid and body. Their matcha latte is very good too. This is the first coffee house since Puerto Rico that might actually get me addicted to their coffee.

Today was my first time visiting. I am truly impressed. Very clean and feels like home. The frappes were delicious and the cookies…out of this world (especially snickerdoodle, I even bought a few more to share with family). I did not ask the cashier’s name but going by the receipt, his name is Issac (wears glasses). He was AMAZING. He really took the time to rave about the menu and offer his personal recommendations. I thought that was really sweet and left a great first impression. I will definitely be back. This is has to be my new spot. Taste and service blows Starbucks and other competitors out of the water. 🙌🏾

The Kolaches are amazing. But the line is always super long! Probably because of how good they are! But i can't go there in the morning because the wait.

Customer service is always the best here and their coffee beats every place in town! My boyfriend and I order from them daily. The employees are the sweetest.

I love this place! Great location, great coffee, and even better employees! Kaleb, Tessa and Megan are usually working when I pop by, and they make me feel so welcome every time. I know for a fact that the other employees are just as friendly and welcoming as these three! I definitely recommend this place if you want to support local and drink some dang good coffee!

Good drinks and pastries, clean, and building temp is good. When going up there to work on stuff it is a little hard to focus because workers talk louder than the patrons so its like you're part of their discussion and bang out the coffee grounds instead of scooping them out which is distracting every couple minutes.

Thanks Ben J for suggesting the King Cake Latte. It was delicious!!
