I came in for a coffee and ordered a salad. I waited 20 minutes for a southwestern salad.. I thought they were cooking the turkey so I didn’t say anything. But sure enough the kid just forgot and finally got the idea because I was staring at the kids behind the counter just chit chatting away. The southwest salad was just torn up DELI MEAT, spring mix, crushed up tortilla chips and shredded cheese. I cannot believe I paid $10 for that. Much less waited 20 minutes. Latte was ok, hard to mess that up. Decor was cute but play place seemed a little sad :(

Wonderful place to take your children and have coffee, breakfast, light lunch with some friends. Service is wonderful.

Over priced with rude employees. They want to be all that but are just snooty and uppity.

Love this little spot in the heart of Central. Yummy breakfast, delicious lunch. Great atmosphere. They are constantly trying new food items and everything I try tastes great

I ordered a hot coffee requesting a pump of caramel and chocolate with skim milk. I was going to be charged $7.00. I assured the woman taking my order I did not want a latte just a hot coffee with added syrups. When I asked about the milk I was told they don’t do that. I went to take a sip to find see it about half full. To say the least, I’m not thrilled with how much I paid and not receiving a full cup of coffee!

Can’t recommend this place as a suitable spot to bring kids. $8 for some tired old wooden play equipment is a little absurd. They gave us no heads up on the high price before our kid ran into the play area. So as my wife was going to pay for her coffee, they quietly slipped in the $8 charge for that. How nice of them.
The equipment is totally unsafe for little ones too - tons of metal and fragile wooden chairs. There was also no floor padding, and the climbing equipment is pretty tall. Not trying to be a Karen, but if a kid were to fall, they’d tumble down several feet onto hardwood flooring.
Also, at the time of this writing, we’re still in the middle of COVID-19. Only one barista was wearing a mask, even though Louisiana has a mask order still in place. And no sanitization was being done to the kids’ play equipment. There was only an empty hand sanitizer bottle by the door. But to be fair, it seems that only a few folks in Central (or even Baton Rouge) are taking the pandemic seriously.

Kid friendly coffee place but also ideal for adults without kids. Such a beautifully decorated place, homey, and such a treat for Saturday mornings!!! ❤️

Unfortunately I don’t normally give reviews but in this case I need too. This place is definitely overpriced but that is not my concern. I went through the drive-through ordered a regular coffee sweetener and half-and-half. Unfortunately I drove all before I tasted my coffee it was relatively cold and very weak. And as I was reading the label and looked at the coffee instead of them giving me half-and-half creamer they put half coffee and half milk. That tells me that the people through the drive-through does not know what they’re doing. If someone ask for half-and-half creamer which I did that should be it give me not half milk half coffee. By the time I tasted it I was already five minutes away. So my 12 ounce four dollars and 50 Cent coffee milk I guess is what I got.

Coffee is hot and good. I had one of the best scones I have ever eaten. Love the people there.
