PJ's Coffee

Hotel lobby coffee will not do. Walk the three blocks from the Hampton Inn (or the Hilton is literally accross the street) and treat yourself to a rich cup-o-joe. You will not be disappointed!

Nice little coffee shop, good for a quick stop, but in a very small space with small tables so it's not a place where I would study. Coffee is always good and staff always friendly. Located on Lafayette Street across from a park so it's a little more quiet and secluded than Magpie and Strands. They offer some sandwiches at lunch along with pastries throughout the day.

Great service! Wasn't sure what I wanted and they were very willing to help and even let us taste before we ordered! Awesome atmosphere and prices are better than other coffee chains.

I had some great coffee here, I don't live in the area but if I did it would be my regular coffee shop, for sure. The service was friendly, quick, and pleasant.

I think some CC's employees must be writing the previous reviews because I had the polar opposite of an experience at this location. Very friendly staff, attentive and quick. I had a cappuccino that was delightful and a freshly made (not pre made wrapped) HOT sandwich. Be careful with reviews people. Only the bad ones ever get through. This place wasn't perfect but it was about normal for the food service industry. I gave them 5 stars only because so many gave incredibly low scores. I have been to CC's and Starbucks. CC's coffee isn't as flavorful and Starbucks feels like a yuppie joint. So in a real world scenario (without any predisposed bias) this shop was a decent 4 stars. Get a little friendlier America.

Love the frozen hot cocoa. Very friendly quick service. Always hit this spot when we go downtown.
